He's the man in charge ffs for what happens on the field. 8 years he's been in charge and I'm not seeing any improvement. It's the same old/same old season after season. He "MIGHT" be the most effective in the organisation? He also might not be.
You can make all the excuses you want and say it is a full organisation responsibility for our lack of success, yet you have not once come up with one alternative. All you have ever done is defend the decisions the club makes and always come up with the same old rhetoric. A broken record.
Unlike us, the club actually knows. Hopefully they make the best decision on whats needed.

Yet we want to blame the merkin who might be the most effective one in the organisation? The one who could be keeping it all together?
And yet some think he is the major reason for the teams issues. Whos right? Do you thinks the players are responding to the Coach? I guess we will find out a little bit tonight but if they improve is it sustainable?
It would be great if all the realists are wrong and BA starts to stick it up everyones ass tonight. Im hoping he does.

Does it??? Actually know?? How much RL experience is actually on the board?? This are the same clowns that send a letter to the fanbase after a 50 point thrashing and telling us they know we are disappointed but knows the time to stick to by the coach and players. Lol embarrassing.

Yep. You are right. Some nuffies on the internet know more about the inner workings of the club, than the actual club.

Talk about giving yourself a wrap...

f**k off. We are about to make the finals for the third straight year. We haven't done that since 2007. That sort of consistency is very important for the club's growth, both in reputation (external confidence) and culture (internal). You'd have to be an absolute f**king idiot to think that increased consistency is not a sign of improvement.

It’s your night Pou but you wanted him out too. Let’s just be happy for the bald bastard.

I don't want him out, I just don't think he should be re-signed. Not yet anyway. I don't think the club will fall apart without him, but I'm also not convinced any other coach would do any better with our club's resources.

I am a big fan of Flanagan though. If we were going to replace Arthur's I hope it's with him.

Most of the time. Every other coach except Bellamy and Cleary has seen his side concede fifty this year. Does that mean they're all no-hopers too? Teams drop form sometimes and it can't be fixed in the space of a month. And some players are more important to their teams than others. A single injury or suspension can tip a team over the cliff. It's stupid to blame the coach.

While beating the Storm is a great result I’d still reserve judgment on the success of this season based on what happens in the finals.
