Yeah Really, how did Kidwell last as long as he did?? Murphy??? Honesty he would only make our coaching staff. He'd just won a spoon at the Titans but het he was good enough for Bea. Holbrook left us straight into Robinson's system. I mean he wasn't good enough for us but he was good enough for the well financed Roosters???

Up until this season you could argue Holbrook had done a more than decent job at the Tits, their spine is rubbish with no depth and it doesn't help him that he was anchored with a 1.25m lemon signed by fraud Meninga.

Losing Kidwell with us in our premiership window and chasing a GF surely we go out and get the best defensive coach we can?? Our defence still sucks and it has all season instead we promote Carr who has done a fair at best job in reserve grade. Bellamy,Robinson and Bennett surround themselves with the best, Bea surrounds himself with absolute dross. It's the reason he will never be more than an average coach. Bennett's greatest strength as a coach is he know's his limitations and what he needs help in. He's not afraid for outside help, in 2005 he blew up his whole coaching structure even long time Bronco's and the next season he won a comp. Murphy is still f**king here!!! Bea still doesn't have clue. I mean our structures are fine and we can score any time we want to. Comments from a deluded dope.

Bellamy has Kearney as an assistant but somehow surround himself with the best? 🤣
Deluded much

Kearney was also an assistant under Bennett, he’s not a head coach but he’s lasted for years under two of the best coaches of the last 30 years as an assistant

That doesn't mean he is any good... BTW your yarn is full of holes.

You said we should go out and get the best defensive coach we can... Who is apparently Ciraldo.. Who is at the Panthers and probably going to get a head coach gig, the other problem is its halfway through a season what coach jumps from one NRL club to another during a season if they are the best or one of the best?

No excuses!! FFS!! Not doing anything and making Rankin captain coach is laughable. It’s not the 70’s, going by our coach and the way we go about things you have to wonder.

We didn’t have the superior roster, two games in isolation proves nothing.
It’s not just two games. There’s a reason why Manly has barely beaten a top 4 side since last season while we consistently match it with Penrith and Melbourne. I won’t even bother to list the number of injuries that Roosters side had. If you think flat track Manly and B grade Roosters had a better roster than us than I don’t know what to tell you.

Manly's for-and-against was 143 points better than ours. They were far better. I agree the Roosters were at about our level, as indicated by their points differential being only slightly better than ours (+141 vs +109). The extra game they won can be accounted for by better luck over 24 rounds. But if they had been at full strength they would've been up there with Manly or even Souths, no doubt.

Of course Manly had a better for and against. They played better than us during the regular season and we had a massive slump. It doesn’t reflect the quality of the rosters at all
