Seriously though I don't think Des would be a good fit for us.

Interestingly on the latest TCT Podcast with @Poupou Escobar s mate Spiro, The 60s Bloke commented that the short drop out was practiced relentlessly throughout the pre season yet it really wasnt added to Our Eels game plan till about 4 or 5 weeks ago. Additionally the sliding D versus the up and in had been a big training emphasis for some time. Great to see. I wonder if there are any more surprises yet to be unleashed?

It might have been practiced in the pre-season, but it is clear that they either no longer practice, have forgotten what they practiced, or are incapable of executing what they practiced.
