I wonder if our coach has finally accepted that this will more than likely be his last two seasons at the club?

Earlier this year in a press conference he did mention that being the Eels’ coach would not last forever.

Feels like forever to me.

2 more years will be a life sentence for us fans, knowing we have absolutely no hope with Sir Baldalot in charge. Is there even a succession plan in place??? Doubt it we’ll just keep going all in on good old Brad.

If Moses, Gutho and Brown are fit all year and remain on the paddock I predict we'll be right up there in 2024 and talk of whether BA should be our coach will disappear.

Yep, we need our pack firing to be any shot in 2024.

Some f**kers here (well one) point to stats and say our attack wasn't he problem... but we weren't laying the platform in attack at the ruck and up the middle that helps make our game plan last over the whole 80mins (including giving the opposition less chance to expose our brittle edge defences).

True, but it doesn't mean our attack was ok at all - our inability to command the middle (in attack) impacted... our attack, as well as putting even more pressure on our defence, which clearly wasn't up to it out wide.

Defense is effort and we where lazy a lot of the time. Our kick chase none existent and not driving and getting 3 in the tackle consistently.
