Well Barrett was the attack coach at Penrith, and got a head coach gig on the strength of that performance. If we're going to hire a quality assistant coach why not put him in the role where he's proven?

No I'm sure he's here as the attack coach, as BA said. But current coaches being reassigned to defence, possibly temporarily, doesn't suggest to me the focus is on improving the defence. Rather the opposite.

They will add an attacking coach (Barrett) and a defensive coach because most clubs have at least 2 main assistant coaches, one with a focus on each of these areas and because both Kidwell and Murphy were not extended beyond 2022 and at the start of this year, that is the roles they each filled.

I actually drank Stone and Wood in the corporate box this afternoon. Didn't particularly like it but once I get a taste for a beer, I stay with it. They had Tooheys draught but it's not normally my beer of choice.
I couldn't wait to get back to the Leagues Club to have a VB or 4.

I was going to say I never get hangovers off beer anymore but just remembered I have some 7% something. I probably could off that.

I doubt we don’t want to improve across the board. But don’t forget we have lost a defence coach and so far Barrett is his only replacement.

I wouldn't read much into it. Likely still had head coaching in mind. A few months for the noise to die down and reality to set in seems fair.

BA said he called him a week after being punted to express an interest for him next season. Then BA said he was keen after being called again. I suspect he's being paid all this season, the last thing he probably wanted to do was think about coaching after the situation he was in. He immediately knew there was an option if he wanted it for next year.

You said most craft beers are too fruity. Can you not taste the passionfruit in a Stone and Wood pale ale? Its loaded with it due to the Galaxy hops.

Its also too carbonated for my liking. Not a great beer imo.
