The other possible consequence of dropping the likes of Jnr and Lane for a lengthy spell now that this season is as good as done, they might crack the shits and ask for a release which helps us out longer term also.... All parties can move on and we can start re-shaping our roster...

If anything sums up BA's 11 years as coach it will basically mean this we will lose to the last placed Souths this week.

Then we will beat the Sharks who are on top of the ladder the following week depleted with origin stars.

This is BA's record when coming up against the side at the top of the ladder going into that round.

We have won 10 games and only lost 4. Its not like we were travelling that great either in a lot of these wins.



Conversely look at his record when coming up against the side that is coming last at that given time.

My thoughts

We have a plodder of a hooker who is only just faster than paint drying and has the commitment of a Gypsy (Sorry to any Member of the Roma reading)

We have a winger whose decline we have watched in real time since we signed him to a long term contract. Yesterday an opposition 2nd rower out jumped him. He is afraid to defend or attack lest he get a long term ban.

But all in all I find it hard to know how to fix this club without a shit tone of cement tablets.

We have been begging the club for a sports Psychologist for years and instead of putting him on staff he is playing 2nd row and seemingly fighting with his demons again instead of playing football.

If some calculations are correct we have 26 members of our top 30, we needs 4 more signings in under 2 months

It won’t be a long term hooker because the club sees Matt in that role. But we need starch in the middle.

If we bone it would be at the end of the year and that would be if he hasn’t made the 8.

You only get to do that if the dolphins don’t extend him before November 1, and then if you do sign him you have to negotiate with the ‘Phins to take him off their hands a year early.
