The difference between last years premiers and this years worst team is........coaches.

One obviously has his team well drilled and the other has a lot of work to do to be anywhere near the other.

My best mate works quite high up in the A mart sports store and they had McQuire out for a work speech and function. He said he was blown away about how well spoken and driven he seemed to be. Gave an excellent speech and he said he can see why he has turned souths around. This was also after he just mins after he found out Avua got suspended for 9 months but he still went out and did what he was there to do anyway without fuss.

Problem I have with BA, last year we didn't improve from round one.We started with a bang and went on to have good games and bad ones.
This year it looks the same.A good coach will not only improve players but improve the actual team as a whole. His tactics aren't what I call great. Im happy to give him next year but as I said guys thinking he is the parra coach for the next ten years might get a shock.If we aren't a top 8 side next year its on your bike.

I think it's too hard for us to determine if he's a good coach or not but those who have played under him all rate him.

we have a shot squad with players all over the place . he inherited a lot of this team and its attitude and that doesn't turn around over night . Not to mention 1.5m of our cap walked out in the off season .

Having said that I think a few of his decisions in the past 2 weeks haven't been his best. Can only hope he learns and gets better .

For those periods today when the team actually maintained posession, they still looked to be running second. Im all for BA but today he was definitely out coached. Sandow looked totally disinterested. Possibly he has been tapped on the shoulder?

I just watched the press conference. Scratch all that philosophical feel-good bullshit I said earlier, just get Arthur to stfu about completion rates! FFS man, footy is surely not always every single time every weekend about completion rates. Sometimes a ball gets dropped. It happens. If you want us to play even crapper more boring footy than we currently do then carry on. Completion rates, FMD.

The eels completed 24 from 36 sets. The Titans completed 28 from 40 which is a bees dick more than us. That doesn't equate to the massive scoreline difference. The problem is De Gois and Seffa and the minimal impact they bring off the bench.
