Started a new Career as a 16-year old bowling all-rounder specialising in leg spin.

First match is a four day match against SA. SA win the toss and elect to bat.

We bowl them out for 367 (and I take 4/31 off 21 overs).

Nekk minnit - we are 4/65 in reply when I come to the crease.

Why did I choose to play for NSW again? Why?

You need to press simulate before going into the match. From the page where you can see your player's face.

Thanks man, got it sorted last night. We figured out that I needed to download an update, since I haven't gone online with my xbox since September.

Finally racked up 300 hours on this. Currently playing Tests and T20's for Australia, all but given up on ODI's.

Average of 62 in tests after 70 odd innings and 49 in T20's after 10 or so.

India in Australia have been the only team to keep me quiet but I still averaged around 40 for the 3 test tour. Currently bashing NZ around Basin Reserve.

Is there a massive step up in difficulty when you step up from state cricket to Aus? I was belting 100's in the IPL but struggle to get to 10 in international games.

Yes there is. It can be like starting the game over again because when you play that first test series against S.Africa its f**king hard.

Made my test debut at 17 years old against NZ, didn't score anything worthy of note but a couple of 20's and 30's for the series.

Just finished a one-off test against Zimbabwe, they bat first and get 269, I open the batting with Warner where we proceed to put on 240-odd for the first wicket, Warner gets 215 off 160 balls while I simply stick around with him for a patient 52 off 150 balls.

Steve Smith comes in at no. 6 (!) and knocks up a quick 90 n.o., victory by an innings and plenty.

Love this game.

Really struggling with the fast bowling.

And as good as this game is, sometimes it's frustrating as hell - I had 3 plumb lbw appeals in one over turned down, and an outswinging nick to the slips that carried, but wasn't given out despite the catch...

Still - very fun game.

Fast bowling is massively tricky, but this game is great - definitely the best Cricket game I've played. Really looking forward to seeing what they do with the sequel this year.

I wonder how well it does in India? The middle class is still a small percentage of the population there, but a small percentage of a billion people is still a lot.

Oh, man - I'm so livid right now;

I just lost a one day game as NSW to Western Australia. We bowled them out for 235, and I took 3-32 off my ten.

We lost by 100 runs because Nic Maddinson scored 77 off 189 balls! Ryan Carters scored 32 off 76!

Still - the game is great fun.

That's the most annoying thing in the game.
Your AI batsmen don't adjust to the scenario. Often they will doddle/eat up balls when chasing a score needing a higher RR

Havign said that, I having actually played since the patch came out so unsure if it's been addressed

I love this game, but why are lbw's so inconsistent?

I bowled three consecutive, beautiful in-swinging yorkers at 155 kph that hit the batsman on his back foot, middle and leg...and not given out.

Love this game, but the lbw's drive me mad.

Nope not addressed. If you chase, you lose. Unless you see out 70% of the innings yourself. Played t20 vs pakistan. They got 178 and in reply i hit 58 off 28 balls and got dismissed needing just 6 an over off 7 overs. We lost 1 wicket and ended on 159. Unrealistic AI big downfall. Hoping next version improves this majorly.

I know this may come as a shock to you all but Im in all sides as an all rounder good solid averages across the board but not a single century! Rod marsh must be a selector!

I get close but lose my shape and usually get an edge or punch it to the only fielder in front of square :)

Is this game hard to play guys?

Is it hard scoring runs and taking wickets?

It takes a little bit to get used to, especially the bowling, but it's fair. I think it's nearly the best balance of difficulty to enjoyment ratio. It won't take you hours to become competent at it, but to really perfect your skills, especially bowling, it takes time.

I love this game and I still play it.

Thanks for that.

R20, it's a solid game. I find it very fun and it can really absorb you. For instance, you'll be playing so well with the bat and then take a chance and you're out. You get all disjointed cause you knew it was a silly shot choice but you line up and try again, improve and the milestones are enjoyable.

I'd wait for the new version before buying it :)
