Just as I said to someone here last week , u gotta BELIEVE we will win next Friday.
I know we need to hope for the best and prepare for the worst , but for the time being just enjoy the ride .
And I honestly beileve we WILL win next week.
Even got a St George mate who's already prepared to sell me his GF tickets!

How about "glass already more full than I expected it to be"? Honestly, I'm stoked that we've done what we have, we've been nothing short of spectacular in recent times. We CAN beat the Dragons, for sure. However, I also understand that the Dragons outclass us with a bit of ease and could thump us if they feel like it...

I think we need to win next week to get away from playing the Dragqueens twice in a row. I think the Dragons (with Bennett's experience) will easily deal with the side who finishes 8th...so I think we need to finish higher and avoid them for a little while. I much prefer our chances against the Dogs/Titans/Storm/Manly

Honestly? A loss will, for all intents and purposes, end our season. Not that I'll mind too much...we've done a great job to get where we are. But the Dragons will not lose a 1 vs 8 battle in the finals, where the other top 4 sides are vulnerable in a few areas IMO.

Sadly, we aren't yet in the same class as the Dragons. They utterly outclass us up front, once Fui and Caylo go off we have very little up there. We can certainly beat them if they're off their game, no troubles there. But if they're on song I fear what they might do to us.

call me a shiny eyed optimist but i dont think a game between the dragons at the peak of their powers and the eels at the peak of ours would be as one sided as you suggest

Forget the year but in recent times we had been flogged by the rabbits, and come out the week after and nearly put 50 on broncos without changing coaches

I can't believe how bad the Dragons played last night, maybe they we're overacheiving at the start of the season????? Or maybe they have gone of the boil, now is the time to be hitting form and getting on a roll. ATM i am not fussed who we play mainly because u had already written the year off 2 months ago.
