When the joint venture was first formed, it was in the understanding that the Red V was non-negotiable. Then the NRL says all teams must have one, and the club agrees heartily, as they can now sell something different from the Red V that most fans had. Unlike other clubs, the Dragons jersey hasn't changed significantly for 30 or so years. (And is still one of the highest selling strips.) We played all of '99 with the Red V, we don't clash with anyone, the whole thing is about the cash.
Whilst I like the Steelers jersey aesthetically, I also like the Chooks and Bulldogs jersey, and don't see the need to have another teams jersey as an alternative.
As to wearing it at WIN, that is definately out of the question IMO, especially considering Win gets more home games than Kogarah.

Anyway the club ran a comp for the alternate strip, and as far as I know, it will the design done by John "Buzz Boy" Butler.
