Boom BoomWe are in the box seat as far as the NRL is concerned. Eels need to shed players and until that happens they cannot fit him.
We may need to shed Mann to fit him comfortably

He's great friends with mary
Perish the thought.....fu@##$kAitken will play right centre and Lomax will play ISP.
I heard Mary McGregor singing on the radio the other night.....i didn't know that's where he got his nickname fromSo were Peter & Paul.
Could be his last chance saloonMon morning talking to sports breakfast radio, he said there has been an offer from Dragons but he can't say anything more about it.
He said that Parra can't fit him in their cap, that he came back unexpectedly, and parras cap was already planned well in advance without his cost included.
But we will see.
I am very uncertain about him.
Unlikely he will ever regain past success. He is toxic in my opinion.
Left Parra, went to grid iron.
Left grid iron, went to Fiji rugby.
Left rugby went to titans.
Left titans, joined Parra.

Yep Lomax to ask for release to be with Freddie and his mobAgree . Anybody thinking our centres wont be Aitken and Lafai are kidding themselves . Lomax may get a gig on the wing with one of the reserve graders on the other but nothing else will change .
I agree with your post Max. I would take Hayne if I was coach and hope to get the best out of him. In saying that, if we could manage to sign others such as Joey Leilua and or Rapana, I would take them over Hayne.I usually try to balance my view about a player by my reaction if he had signed with the Roosters or Sharks.....I would likely be envious.
Hayne can be a handful to coach and not the most co-operative team player according to public opinion but he is the most talented and complete footballer I have seen.
If Hayne announces he is signing with the Roosters, there would be howls of protests and salary cap complaints...
On the possibility that he puts in and performs even close to his ability, i hope the Dragons sign him.
Hayne on an off day is better than any of our current outside backs.
(Special mention to Lomax and Dufty who are still developing)
I like the look of your team Possm, but I think it would have to be either Aitken or Robson on the bench, with either Lawrie or Host taking the last bench spot. I also would be concerned that Frizell may get pissed off about not being in the starting line up. I think he would be really good coming off the bench playing prop in that pack or even playing lock when Debelin is off the field. I would even consider starting with Frizell at prop and bringing Graham on off the bench. I fully expect Sims and Frizell to be our 2 starting second rowers next year.
I also like how you referred to number 5 as "The Fijian". Classic. lol
Boom Boom
No argumentI'd rather see us shed Aitken and Lafai. Mann is good value at left centre and can cover a number of positions when injuries occur.
Adam Hawse from Fox at the charity cricket match yesterday
