Exactly right OD, Dugan scored was it 3 tries last season, 2 line breaks. We missed the semis with him at number 1, we would have missed them last year too had duges been playing for us. With a bit more experience and coaching, Dufty will be kicking up dirt and grass in Duges face, nothing against duges, but Dufty is one of our bright hopes.

I believe your right st.phil , he is at that age now when an injury could keep him out for a while . But what I believe will be his biggest problem is to maintain the enthusiasm and leave the accumulated baggage that his has collected at other clubs behind him .

I would nly sign him with clauses that protect us. Happy to pay him incentives if he puts in, pulls his head in & performs for the full season otherwise a waste of money even at a "bargain " price of 400-500k.

I am yet to see anything where Hayne says StGI is in the mix if the Eels can't fit him in under the cap however French Rugby is acknowledged as an option.
You would think that if we were an option in Hayne's mind he or his manager would have said so by now.

Id take him , for the right money , could be just what they need in the back line can cover a few positions . You never know Mary might f**k him up for good , by playing him in the forwards as he did with Nighty .......

It was reported that the Dragons tabled a 500k offer. I expect Hayne will sign for 500-600k so I guess we are in the hunt. I'd like to see Hayne as our fullback with Lomax and Mann as our centres. Depending on how they go in the off-season, it would also be great if Pearson and the other rookie we signed from the Raders would make it as our first grade wingers.

Dugan was very good for us in his first two seasons at our Club. The problem is that injuries caused a vacancy at fullback far too often and Mary used Nightingale in that position even though he was not a fullback.

I thank Dugan for his service with us and wish him luck in the future.
