IT appears that Jarryd Hayne’s playing future has been narrowed down to either the Parramatta Eels or French rugby.
Speaking on League Central TV, Buzz Rothfield revealed that the dual Dally M Medal winner appears unlikely to sign on with a rival Sydney NRL club.
The Eels are believed to be desperate to retain the club favourite, but a lack of salary cap space could force him out of Parramatta.

“I was told Jarryd would not play for another Sydney club. Parramatta’s the love of his life,” Rothfield said.
“They do desperately want him to stay, but they can’t move.
“It’s a wait and see. Will Parramatta get into position to be able to offload players?”
Hayne was a notable absentee from the club’s first day of pre-season training on Thursday, with coach
Brad Arthur declaring he has ‘no idea’ if the versatile back will ever wear the blue and gold again.
