Mug coaches don't win 3 premierships especially with 100 to 1 shots in 2005, the Tigers. Just a thought.

So no, I have no personal relationship or inside info on Sheens. All I know is that he is coach of the Kangaroos and has been successful in that role.

How could anyone not be successful in that role? Even Price would have just as good a record as Australian coach. They only ever have a contest with NZ, the rest are a basket case.

Every team fell over when the Tigers won in 2005. Sheens is a myth along with Marshall
Even Parra choked in the other QF v Cowboys, otherwise they would have beaten the Tigers in the GF.
Correct, every team did fall over and they did sweet F A since and it was great satisfaction eliminating them in 2010 .

I have to actually disagree with a lot of the comments here regarding Tigers falling over.

If we were good enough we should have beaten in the semi.

Plain and simple.

Although I hate them as much as everyone else, they outplayed us that game.

Brown got taught a footballing lesson that night by Sheens.

Based on that theory, Sheens has also been given plenty of lessons by opposing coaches since 2005......

Yes he has, not disputing that.

I'm just a bit of a believer in taking a bit of accountability when it's time.

We saved our worst performance for last that season, and credit to the tigers they pressured us all night.

Agree about that particular night.
But back to the coaching issue, Sheens would be a disaster for us. His record is not what people would have us believe. He failed in Nth Qld, achieved premierships at Canberra with all-star teams (which could not possibly be assembled under today's salary cap rules) and won the one GF with the Tigers. Their supporters were glad to see the back of him, only getting them to 3 finals series in 10 seasons.

Sheens is getting advice off Robbie Deans that's how good he's going!

Back in the game? According to the Telegraph? I wonder what Humphrey B Bear thinks? Would probably carry the same credence?
