Where does it say that?

I can't find it on-line, but it's on page 117 of today's Telegraph. There are a couple of quotes
( about Bellamy ) from his manager John Fordham. "He is going up to Brisbane this weekend to work with Laurie Daley with the Indigenous team." Fordham said. There is no deal at the moment and we are still in the process of negotiations."

So it doesn't say what was suggested... The above quote is nothing of the sort

I agree, most of the article is like an entry in this thread that is trying to keep the hope of Bellamy coaching the Dragons next year. Anyway, here's the key part for you optimists :

" But speculation emerged yesterday that the deal was a long way from being finalised - and that the Dragons were right back in the game"

Huddersfield ruined former coach Nathan Brown's first game in charge of St Helens with a stunning 40-4 triumph at Langtree Park.

Maybe Brown drops down the list as an alternative choice - if Bellamy decides to stay at the Storm. Brings back some memorries of days gone bye when one was left scratching ones head in dismay.
Yep, that's a decent flogging, although they would have been pumped playing against their ex coach, maybe there was a few players with a point to prove..

Yes St Helen's were at full strength and were simply steam rolled by Huddesfield. The report I read said that Saints were simply bereft of ideas. Sounds familiar?

The latest gossip (and I reiterate gossip) I heard at the weekend at Mudgee (from an ex steelers player) was we are very close to signing Bellyache. Not only does he want to be closer to his mother, but apparently his wife hates Melbourne. Take it with a grain of salt, but I thought I would post it for you.

Well I think he's coming but won't announce the deal until after Melbourne plays Leeds in the wcc deals this big don't just happen they take time and he clearly doesn't want to harm melbournes chances of winning otherwise its a wasted trip.patience people he's coming and he'll announce once he arrives back in Australia and before the season starts which ironically is against the dragons in round one which will be a huge build up.Go the DRAGONS!!!

It's interesting you say that, because although Bellamy has said very little, one of the few things I think he did say at some point was that he would annouce his future before the WCC match.

I clearly remember that as well.
All the more reason i think its a 50/50 call.
He was ademant he wanted the "air clear" , so i suggest he had some cleaning to do :sarcasm:

Either way, what a game round 1 will be.
Bellamy v old club or
Pricey pumped.

I don't have any inside info just my opinion as I think that is the more likely scenario I could be wrong though either way I think it's almost a done deal to come to the dragons.

I think if he stays with storm he'll announce before wcc and if he's coming it'll be after IMO!
Only Bellamy knows, I wish he would hurry up and put us all out of our misery. I appreciate it is a huge decision with complex negotiations for him, but I think I speak for all of us and say, "we're over it."
