Merrin has twice denied he is coming back, stating he will honour his 4 year UK deal, the latest being yesterday...

Hearing Jason Saab is actually going to be promoted to the top 30 and I doubt Runciman will get brought in since he’s been playing most games that I know of in the second row. Hopefully the eels forward in question is Mau though
The Eels would not be that stupid.

Don't you love the way that high profile players avoid our club like the plague?
Roberts asked for a release from the Broncos, was granted that release and headed straight to Souths to play under Bennet.
While McGregor continues to play at being a FG coach, other clubs are planning and plotting to win premierships.
Apart from aptitude and technical knowledge, you can't underestimate the influence a top line coach has on recruitment.

I would say no to Martin. We are right for secondrowers. We also have Ford in CC, who is apparently going very well.

We need wingers, centres and at least one prop.

I'd say which two players does Millward have in mind. Remember it was Millward who heaped praise on his new signings, Rava and Pearson and claimed credit for securing Maranta and Runciman.

Back to the point, the NRL seem to be insisting we recruit a new replacement player for De Belin in order to receive salary cap compensation and Millward has gone on record saying he would be recruiting a top grade outside back. So it seems to be an outside back and a lock who wants to move clubs before June 30.

If Robson is committed to NQ, then we probably/reluctantly need to let him go prior very soon to make space for an extra outside back to be brought into our top 30. Saab would be my pick to do this. We have so many in the top 30 we should get rid of but unfortunately it would be impossible to do as no other club would want them. However, if Dufty, Field, Rava, Pearson, Runciman, Allgood, Latimore etc. want to move on before June 30, I'd hope the club would not stand in their way.

Having said all of the above, I feel this season is a lost cause and so we need to be developing some of our best and brightest in preparation for the 2020 season.

Hang on a sec....do you really want to give Pearson the flick after just one game? You’ve been advocating his inclusion quite strenuously since round one. Ravalawa, on the other hand, is a complete dud
