Haha, nah Mary didn't have that stipulation for Maranta before playing him in first grade. I'm sure whoever we can dredge up will be as excellent as all of our 3/4s have been for the last couple of years.

Rapana would be a great signing, as long as he can stay injury free. He isn't just a winger. He adds another dimension to a team from the wing. He would be one of the number 1 wingers in the game in my opinion.
We have 3 reserve grade wingers with potential. This season is gone so I suggest we use the rest of the season testing / coaching these wingers to see if they can make it in first grade next year. The wingers I am speaking about are Saab, Pearson and Ravalawa. I think Pereira is more a centre than winger and so while Lafia is injured, how about testing Pereira at 4 instead of Maranta.
It is very hard to believe we let them go but why we did not replace Nightingale and Macdonald with like for like, I'm also unsure. What happened to the salary cap set aside for Nightingale and Macdonald. Did Millward use it to buy Norman and to avoide letting Widdop go?
Best thing for Lulia is to go to another club and get guidance to how to improve his game. Imagine him in the Melbourne , Roosters or Souths systems.Watch him go then !
