Please enlighten me as to what he did wrong today to warrant the criticism?
By all means have an opinion but enlighten us as to how you formed it.
IMO with limited opportunities today because we obviously played with a long left hand side attack and he was deprived a bit re clean ball he did everything asked of him in attack and in defence was outstanding.
Very strong against some very big bodies.

His post-contact metres were particularly impressive. He's not a big guy but he always made metres against Idris, Lawrence and Grant.

Handy win but still plenty of room for improvement. Forwards did great and Widdop has really stepped up this year. Our kicking game is very poor though. We virtually let them start their sets on or around their 30, which is basically the same as giving them a 7 tackle set so might as well kick for their in-goal and hope for the best. Constantly give good field position to the better teams and we'll pay dearly for that. Duges has been playing out of his well tattooed skin but still needs to look before he acts - can pass when a kick is on and vice versa, bombed an excellent scoring opportunity. So did Nene but luckily it didn't cost us. I'm sure Mary will point that out in the video session.
It's a good thing though that we're 2nd on the ladder and yet are capable of playing considerably better than we have been.
Well done boys, I'm really happy for them and, dare I say it, well done Mary who's obviously got the boys firing.

p.s. Mann played really well too, great hit on Idriss, picked the big bastard up and drove him backwards, good stuff !

I'd go Mann to FB.

By moving Nightingale we are effectively moving two pieces in our puzzle which impacts 2 areas.

By having Mann a direct replacement then it's only one area and he might be able to add the passing game that Dugan doesn't have.
