I was a little concerned about what Tedesco might do to Aitken given he wears L plates in defence. Will Mann do better in defence?

Good Point and question S5.If we win, do we still not change a winning team ??????
Wasn't it the cowboys we beat during origin last year?Yep so our handling of the situation would be the key change we need to make and bring in youngsters rather than the 'safe' experienced options.
But to the original point of teams struggling without their form players I think they would see a massive drop in form from their best.
For example imagine Melbourne without say smith, Bromwich, slater (they now have Munster though)
Cowboys without Coote, Thurston and Scott.
Sharks without Graham, Maloney and Holmes.
You'd see a big difference in all their performances.
What I'm trying to get at is why are we pointing constantly to the fact we would struggle without our 3 form players? If the time comes so be it, but we can't always go back to that point because we have actually started the season better than most thought we would.
I doubt that will happen. I think as the team list suggests, Mann a straight swap for Aitken most likely. I am hoping that he does well but I am not sold on Mann as much as many other posters. People have said he is our best back, I don't think that is close to true. He was top try scorer last year because he is a good finisher on the wing but I don't think that he will be a household name like some have suggested on here.Or Milne straight into right cent, Mann in the halves and McCrone on the bench.
The Dragons love the rain and wet track. Our forwards will roll up through the middle busting the confidence of the Tigers forwards. The Tigers halves will be shut down and so Tedesco won't get good service. Its raining again.........oh ohhhhh its raining again..........lalalalalalaaaaaa!
Mann to wing and McDonald to centre.
