Liddle won't play 80 minutes at hooker anyway, so I don't think it's a bad thing. He'll probably come on after 30 minutes or so then play the rest of the game.

Great to see young Coachman in the 17.

Max Feagai not far away either.

Good to see Woods/Kerr & Burns, Moga outside the 17. They were poor in the trials.

Hopefully we will see Ryan Coachman play some first grade in the second half of the season.

Good to see Couchman for sure. I'd have thought Kerr's off-loads and quick play the balls would be good value against the Titans. Moga's last outing against the Titans in Round 23 last year he scored a hat trick - with a fourth dis-allowed - 3 line breaks, 195 metres, 82 post contact mtrs and 7 tackle breaks. He did miss a crucial tackle but overall he had a big win against his opposite wing and centre. He's a great back up if we need him.

R&W you are legitimately one of my favourite posters on here and I get what you are saying but again this just sends a really poor message hey do what you want perform how you want and you'll be picked anyways if the coach were serious he'd think long term and send message to all players Rava, Musgrove, Amone, & Molo should all be playing reserves to send a message to the playing group don't screw around or you'll be dropped. Sure it would more than likely mean a loss to GC but short term pain for long term gain no wonder our culture is toxic AF.

Yeah mate. But dropping them all will cause these players to be pissed off and just add to the toxic culture. Shit coaches like Hook have to walk on egg shells to please these young kids. If these players crack the shits for being dropped, they’ll chuck a tantrum and want out of the club. Which will put more shit on Hook and will add another nail to his coffin. Great coaches like Bennett demand respect from their players and they respond. Hook gets no respect from his players. That’s why they didn’t listen to him and decided to have a bbq last year. Then, after getting caught out…instead of binding together and playing their hearts out… they lost every single game for the rest of the year. (And for some strange reason the dragons decided to extend Hook’s contract…but that’s a whole different story)

How about everyone be happy that Hook picked Sloan at 1, Sullivan at 6, Bird at 13 and Woods no where near the 17. I’ll cop Mbye at 9 if he only plays 30 odd mins

This is an interesting team and shows some risk taking by Hook.
I could not believe it when I saw the Team.

It's ok to the wrong thing put the club in jeopardy and still get picked no worries? Is the coach that desperate to save his job he will pick players regardless of what has happened off the field.

mbye wont give us any type of go forward so we will be easy fodder for the titans defence. 20 minutes tops for mbye , and then the problem is hook will be itching to throw him back on in the second half at someones expense. We need speed from the 1st minute and mbyes defence is also a worry .

Wouldn't of picked Michael Molo.
Maybe gave Kerr a first up chance.
Amine not yet and at least no Woods why he got an extra year option is beyond me.
But I just had a look who's officiating.
One of our favs Chris Sutton, and bunker Kasey Badger.
That's a fizzer right there.
Everytime we get Sutton he gives it to us and the crowd wants to rip him to shreds.
