The Parramatta National Rugby League Club wishes to advise that players Mark Riddell and Tim Smith have today been fined $5000 each for unacceptable off field behaviour.

"They have let a number of people down with their behaviour, and the Club will not tolerate it," Parramatta Chief Executive Denis Fitzgerald said.
Both players have apologized to their team mates, staff and supporters for their behaviour.

Yep, good by the club but really does Marcus Perenara deserve a demotion to the bench to make way for Riddell.

Tim Smith starting is fair as Jeremy has come into the top grade as a swap.
but Riddell should've been forced onto the bench with Marcus starting at hooker unless Marcus plays 1st grade.
