Well it would seem that besides the ingoals (by necessity) our "mini" field isn't mini at all and is the same dimensions with wise than every other ground. I had to laugh where Hagan said "We paid the price in round 23 for playing on the narrower field" ................ Well since we never grappled in that game he needed something else to sook about so he turned his attention to our non existant narrower field as an excuse.

Waldron yesterday labelled Melbourne's push to have shorter in-goals for the Dome clash as a publicity stunt. But, in a bizarre twist, Olympic Park officials rejected claims their ground was narrower than other NRL venues, saying that Parramatta and the NRL had the wrong information.
NRL chief operating officer Graham Annesley yesterday produced a document that listed the width at Olympic Park as 66m. A full-sized field is 100m x 68m with 8m in-goals.
Horticultural manager Adrian Black, however, yesterday confirmed the Park was a full-sized field, revealing the ground was reconfigured in 2005, 12 months before the Commonwealth Games, to 68m in width.
"I'm not too sure where they're coming from. It's definitely 68 (metres in width)," Black said. "We want it brought to the fore because it really gives us the sh---- when the commentators are up there and they start carrying on about a narrow field at Olympic Park. It's the same as everywhere else."
Black said the in-goal remained at 6m because of safety fears. "Because of our athletics track we're a bit limited with our in-goal. Just for safety reasons we like to have it at 6m," he said.
Eels coach Michael Hagan said Parramatta had paid a price in round 23 for playing on the narrower field. :sarcasm:
Black said he would welcome both Hagan and Fitzgerald to use a trundle wheel to measure the ground's dimensions themselves.
