Dufty to Titans

Certainly was True & he really proved the big difference in the end.
If the club wanted to offload anyone to the Titans, I’d be pushing for Norman instead.

Yeah, today he got down low on certain kick returns, ( avoiding being dragged back too often), when the opp arose he played with width, under the highball good, and in broken play superb. A stellar game that surprised me. Good luck to the kid. I am happy to eat humble pie when they play like that.

Dufty was good today but it has to be said against a very ordinary outfit.

He managed to get on the outside of a few and show his pace but the good sides I suspect will force him infield but I do admire his vision and ability to get the ball to the wingers as nobody else has it that's for sure.

Fafitta looking older than James Graham and Johson not delivering made for an easier than normal day at the back.

Let's not all get too wound up in a win against Scumulla and lets see what transpires against the better sides in a couple of weeks.

I just hope the Mc Humptydumpty sticks with him the same outfit so we can see what it is really like but I suspect a change or 2 will yet again complicate the situation.

Let's see.

Crush he , for me , wont be the line breaking 60 metre runner type but the very solid justin hodgers, type and he has subtle aspects to his game. Best value for us may be as a backrower as the kid's shoulders havent popped yet !

When he takes a ball this dropping to the ground thing is not on , run at then full pace let them make the tackle , it was much better today ....

Mate I don't know who the best centre at the club is but I know Lomax isn't "by far and away"
the best.
He may well turn out to be in the future and I hope he does but I am just saying for me I haven't seen anything to suggest that he is a star.
Maybe a deep backline with space, so he can use his lethal step as Gasnier had showed many times. Freddie even suggested this with an inside support runner.

The real test for Duffy will come soon enough so let’s just wait a couple of weeks before we say anything either way.

Happy for him today and he was improved but lots still to do.

For sure he does need to learn how to corner post to hit the wingers as they attempt to score as that is what all good FB’s do.

The DuffMan showed he can play well above his weight. Today also showed he was trained how to minimize being dragged back. His confidence grew throughout the game because of this. He actually performed inspiringly today.
