Indeed.Interesting to note there were already indications last year Dugan was set to leave
Might help explain Duges waiving the cooling off period with Sharks.

AgreeThis kid belongs in FG. Improved defensive positioning, looked ok taking a high ball and kept up his work rate. Really thought he would have busted the game open for us but it wasn't to be.
Dugan should not see FB again this year.

When Souths won the comp, Inglis was challenging Slater for the best fullback in the comp. If Inglis would have been playing fullback all of those years before, especially when he was more agile, maybe he would have the mantle of the best fullback of all time. He is definitely one of the best centres and wingers (in the few games that he played there) of all time. Melbourne also won a grand final with him playing 5/8.What on earth is this thread about? It's beyond my will to go back to the start but on the last two pages alone we've got some goose writing an article that Dufty was being chased by the Warriors (RTS who?) and someone else claiming Greg Inglis as the greatest fulkback of all time.
On the off chance it was started about Matt Dufty, surely he's a bright point in a rapidly disintegrating season.
Didn't he re-sign for 2 years. He's great. We're lucky to have him. He's locked up until the end of 2019 and he will almost certainly never come off contract.

My understanding is he is under contract until the end of 2018?
Storm wont be the only club after him.The Storm are after Dufty so we should sign him up long term as they want him to replace Slater.
Agree but we did a contract for Nighty before them hard to fathom!!!!!!!!I haven't read anything about the Storm being interested in Dufty?
Matty's contract is up at the end of 2018 but we should be looking to lock him in for another 3 years beyond that. We need to accept that over the next 12-18 months we are probably going to lose a couple of our promising young players due to cap pressure. These kids will be skyrocketing in price soon and we won't be in a position to keep them.
If I was Millward I would be looking to lock in Lomax, Dufty, Field, Sailor and Marsters.
