he's a 200 game veteren who's played origin and won a grand final...

until Josh emulates that it's Josh who??

Sorry champ but the original post that your replying to wasnt meant to be said as in who the hell is rhyse wesser, it was just directed at the fact that the previous guy that mentioned wesser had actually typed his first name incorrectly.

Back in the day Wesser was a gun although he did struggle under the high ball, but damn could he motor. To be honest to win a grandfinal doesnt mean that his splooge material..hell several deadbeats have been in teams who have won, that doesnt mean they are great..just means that they played in a great team.

Dugan now is clearly better then Wesser now, 200 games or not it doesnt matter. Finch won a grand final and played in origin, does that mean his better then Dugan? pfft I think not.

I love how the Roosters fans have once again gone missing when their arguments have been shot to sh*t. I don't know why I expected any better.

Well unlike you most of us have a life and actually have other things to do bseides sitting in dark rooms on forums. This being the first time i have been on since yesterday afternoon i will answer your points

- Yes Canberra have more premierships over the last 30 years but that is not the only measure of success. The roosters have been in at least 5 grand finals that i know of ( I dont actually remember anything before 94 and cant be bothered looking up the exact figures), at least 2 minor premierships, at least 13 finals series and at least 1 club championship. How is that not sustained on field success. YOur club on the other hand has been in limited finals series since post super league and no one up to the age of 20 associates them with success.

- You obviously can not grasp the concept of the professional era. This is a professional sport, players go where the best deal for them is and the slary cap is the tool to make sure the talent is spread evenly. It is just that barely any quality players choose to go to canberra... i wonder why that might be??

- Shillington was used on the bench at the roosters because thats how they chose to use him. To say Canberra turned him into a test player is garbage, he was playing for Queensland whilst at the roosters. I have no problem with him leaving and doing what is best for him which was obviously a starting position at Canberra.

- Sorry i did forget Harrison was in the test. I appreciate you bringing it up though. Canberra has 2 test players, one a Queenslander, one a Kiwi. Next you will be telling us Mal Meninga was a Raiders junior!!!!

Don't get me wrong though i have no problem with Canberra having those players, it is part of the professional era.

Matty, Pettybourne and Talanoa are both Souths Jnrs.

2 of those so called juniors play for New Zealand.

If that is the definition of junior i am happy to go with it but it seems some people on this forum chop and change the definition to suit themselves/bash other teams.

Being a junior has got nothing to do with where you were born or your ethnic heritage, it's based on which area you went through the grades as a junior. Both Talanoa and Pettybourne's junior club is the Mascot Jets. As the Mascot Jets are part of South Sydney's junior rugby league competition, that makes them Souths Juniors. It's no more complicated than that.

I agree and am happy to accept that. As i said though other people use modified definitions when bashing other teams

Yeah people seem to use the term 'junior' loosely, or think a junior is the same thing as a developed player. Luke Burt played SG Ball and Flegg for Parramatta before making his debut at senior level, but he's not a Parramatta junior as we brought him to the club from up the F3. He is a Newcastle junior, and arguably Parramatta developed player.

Not always that straightforward though...as I mentioned earlier, Mateo for example
