I believe Farah is the best No.9 in the competition. That is certainly debatable but there is no debate as to whether he is one of the best or not.

sounds like you started debating yourself mid sentence... you said he was the best but then backed down when your brain kicked into gear..

I have a habit of doing that. Do I? I said 'I believe' he is the best and still do.

Everyone has an opinion, even homies like you, and this a place to state those opinions. I think Rein has been pretty good this year but Farah is a massive step up in class. Surely you must know all about personality problems but Farah has lots of friends as well as enemies and anyone questioning his ability is letting Farah's reported personality problems get in the way of sound judgement.

So you believe Farah is a better No 9 than Cameron Smith & Isaac Luke?

Yes. The latter definitely has more impact but he is injured or suspended half the time and can't play 80min. Look at the first 2 SOO games this year for an indication of that. Farah was far better despite playing injured. I know his stats have gone down this year and I know J. Taylor is perhaps only surpassed by Kearny and supercoach Price in the worst coach stakes. Look at Farahs stats for the last few year excluding this year. He has it all over Smith.

I agree with Vas and that Farah is the best No.9 in the game. He is brilliant in SOO and we all saw the difference when Ennis took his spot and Ennis is no weak link. Farah on his games is second to none. Cameron Smith is great but a huge grub who gets away with murder on the field. Forward passes, slow play the balls etc. He is a protected species like Billy girl. If he was treated like others he would probably get called back for more forward passes than what poor Mitch Rein cops.

But in saying that Farah looks like a man who likes to take control of everything hence why there are so many problems at the Tigers. Ask poor Mick Potter and Tim Sheens. He is a control freak and I don't think that is what Saints need now. Threatening to play him in reserve grade is basically telling everyone they want him as far away from the NRL squad as possible in 2016. He must be causing some grief for the youngsters because the way the Tigers juniors are talked up it's as if they have a fantastic roster but something is just not right and holding them back.

I think the Titans will be a good fit for Farah or possibly the Rabbits.

LOLOLOLOL @ anyone who honestly thinks Farah is better than Cameron Smith!!!

I agree Farah is in the top echelon of hookers, but he is still a distant 2nd to Cameron Smith.

I agree the problem seems to be that he thinks he is the emperor of Tiger Town and has for a while and maybe it's getting worse. But my position is that in a new team where he is starting off with 0 influence and approaching the end of his career (though if the stories are true about his dedication to fitness, he will likely be playing until his mid-30s), it won't be a problem.

Don't forget also about the reduced interchange next year. An 80min hooker will be even more valuable and Havili, being big enough to play as an extra forward, could prove a perfect foil. If Farah needs a rest, Havili can come on and if not, come on for a tiring forward.

The team still needs 1 or 2 fast outside backs but Farah in the team would be another piece in the puzzle. IMO Rein is hardly a 'weakness' but as I said previously, Farah is on an entirely different (and higher) level. Having a rival club pay most of his salary would just be too good for words.

Its not about what Smith does with the ball that makes him good, its about what he does to the team around him, the decisions he makes..

I really must not watch closely enough because I haven't seen Farah do anything in the first 2 origins and the 3rd cant be blamed on Ennis, Farah wouldn't have been able to stop the way QLD rolled us!

Game 1 Stats
5 runs
49m
1 offload
51 tackles (his only strong point)
0 try assists

Game 2 Stats
2 runs
12m
33 tackles
3 missed tackles
0 try assists

Yeah, gotta agree with this...although I do enjoy this Vasilevsky fellow, characters like him make the forum great!

Widdop sucks.
Bird sucks.
Farah is better than Ennis.
Hasnt stopped whinging about being called 'homie'.
Blatantly racist.

And so on...

Good times!

Relax homie. If you want to denounce me do it honestly. A very smart guy from Simbirsk (now Ulyanovsk) once said 'Even slander should make sense.'

Widdop has been a distant second in the playmaking stakes to Benji for the majority of this year.

Bird isn't a great loss.This is true.

Farah is way better than Ennis. IMO, the best No.9 in the competition. If you disagree, fine. I don't care but my opinion won't change based on your opinion. Sorry if you don't like it.

Again, simply untrue. I got upset by the 3 homies (you just made the list so make it 4 now.) denouncing me for simply asking 1 of them politely not to call me homie.

On what basis? For calling a Negro a Negro? WTF should I say? Black person? I would if it made you feel better but it's simply false. There are several ethnic groups that have no relation to Negros but have dark skin. Would I also be racist if I had the temerity to call a Caucasian a Caucasian?

Just get the f**k out of my face homie. Sorry if my opinion doesn't correspond with yours but deal with it.

FFS, if I could be bothered you are probably one of the ones denouncing Farah for being a supposed control freak and you probably don't understand the irony.

Are you Robbie Farah? That's the only possible explanation for you believing he's anywhere remotely near Cameron Smith's ability.

Ok, that's fine. IMO Smith is the second best. If you disagree with me on Farah it's no problem. But the fact we are disagreeing on who is the best surely is an indication that Farah would be great for the Dragons (based on ability). I don't mind a rival club paying the majority of the second or 3rd best No.9s salary to play for the Dragons. In fact, I like that idea a lot.

Cameron Smith is considered by many good judges to be a future immortal. Robbie Farah's name isn't even mentioned in the conversation.

Is it not common knowledge Negros from inner city American slums are poorly educated? I have met a few who have escaped. I can't believe English is their first language. Not bad people but very poorly educated.
