Again. I agree with your basic analysis. Rein is surely on more than 300k a season and he surely isn't as good as Farah (whether the stories about Farah being a complete homie are true or not). Surely there would be another club willing to take Rein. He is too good a player.

Farah of course would usually play 80min (a huge advantage on the hookers at most clubs) Havili would be the perfect foil. Big enough to come on in the forwards and a decent dummy half in case Farah needs a rest.

Anyway, I presume what Matthew Johns reported isn't accurate. The Warriors or Storm probably wouldn't want him (as they are already paying huge money for their No.9s) but surely every other club would be tripping over itself trying to get Farah on those conditions.

I appreciate your comments. However, I am lead to believe the bolded part of your comment is not really a fair assessment of current goings on. I have been told otherwise and Farah's options are very, very limited.

Broncos - McCullough
Roosters - Friend
Cowboys - Glanville
Storm - Smith
Rabbitohs - McInnes (+ another from Panthers?) + cap issues for 2016
Sharks - Ennis
Bulldogs - Lichaa / Crook
Dragons - Rein / Havili /Garvey?
Panthers - Segeyaro (sp)
Warriors - Luke
Parra - Peats / De Gois + Cap issues for 2016
Titans - ?
Manly - ?
Knights - ?
Raiders - ?
Tigers - lol

Certainly frustrates me no end watching Cook go so well for the dogs, him and Quinlan were absolute standouts for the Cutters, both could play fullback, Cook could cover bench hooker.. extremely frustrating..

But in the end it came down to Cook vs Garvey, though really 1 could have perhaps been the bench hooker.. anyway.. whats done is done I suppose..

Is anyone else watching the Tigers-Warriors game? It has merely reinforced my opinion that Farah is the best No.9 in the competition.

Better than Smith? Surely you're taking the piss.

Absolutely not taking the piss. But regardless, can't see you how good he (Farah) is?

I'm not part of the 'Mitch Rein is hopeless' crowd but to replace him for Robbie Farah and save money at the same time is too good to be true.....

Mate, I highly doubt there will be a saving of money. At this time of the year, most of next years rosters are finalised. Especially the larger dollar purchases.

I'm not talking about Rein or how good Farah is. You're saying Farah is better than Smith. That's the dumbest thing I've read for a long time.

You are entitled to your opinion. According to today's game (and Farah said after the match he decided to just go out and play his game. i.e. Not follow the coaches directions) Farah is the best No.9 in the competition by some distance.

Tigers put on 50 points today...Farrah played a big hand in that...but Warriors even make us look good...our loss today and a Tigers win, will now mean we're up for a big challenge next Saturday vs Tigers..luckily it's our home grind.......ANZ that is!!

And you have every right to express yours. And I have the right to think your opinion is dumb.

You most certainly have that right. I hope we can agree that whatever you feel about Farah, he would be a great addition to the Dragons if the Tigers are paying most of his salary.

Did you watch the game? It's a gross understatement to say he merely 'played a hand in it'. Having said that, the way the Tigers forwards were rolling through the middle certainly set up things nicely for Farah.
