As far as I was led to believe it was the tunnel the first grade side will walk past from there dressing room prior to reaching the main tunnel. The opposition will not be required to walk thru or past the murals, it will be for our benieft only. Either way it is a positive motivational tool.

CP, Dave doesn't like to be proved wrong...if I'm wrong I'm the first to admit it. When I posted that the aim was to motivate not intimidate, which is outlined in the above quote, he seemed to think he knew more about the Panthers than the actual supporters of this team, that is why I posted what I did....I'm not the one that turns these topics into bitch fights...if Dave can't take sarcasm then....

If you want to ban me, then do it for a damn good reason but NOT because I'm passionate about our team and don't like it when people start having a go at them, the coaching staff OR the management.

How about you just take your whinging and complaints of Matty Elliot back to your own section - US penrith Fans are getting jack of the crap you Raiders fans constantly spout about him, the bloke took you lot to the finals on a regular basis, yet he was still not good enough for you. Why don't you move on and get over it. Gees, you lot will proclaim Mr Henry a bloody genius if he can deliver you something (AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT A FINALS SPOT EITHER!!)

Yes we made it to the finals 4 out of 5 years that he coached us. But he failed to win a single finals match, despite having talent such as Clinton Schifcofkse, Joel Monaghan, Ruben Wiki, Luke Davico, Mark McLinden, Adam Mogg, Ryan O'Hara, Jason Smith etc at his disposal over the years.

It may make you feel better to roll out the "Matty Elliott did well with a bunch of nuffies" line, but it simply isn't true. It just reflects Sydney media ignorance.

We had the Dally M fullback of the year last year (Clinton Schifcofske), as well as a nominee for centre of the year (Adam Mogg), 5/8 of the year (Jason Smith), and lock of the year (Alan Tongue - who incidentally broke the all time tackling record last year and was the highest try scoring forward of the year). And we came 7th, not bad but hardly an amazing coaching feat with players like that in your team.

Good luck to the Panthers this year, I think you'll do fine, you have a decent roster. But Matt Elliott is not a supercoach, you'll find that out in due course.
