Dureau will come good when he has had the game time and has a chance to play injury free for a while.
It's pointless trying to convince Knights fans that an ordinary halfback is ok, because we all judge games by watching the guy with the number 7 and expecting him to pull our nuts out of the fire on every play.
I've given up trying to say he is a rookie who is firstgrade standard and improving, because some fans will never be happy with our 7 again - doesn't matter who it is.

I can't be overly critical of Dureau given the limited number of games he has strung together in first grade. It doesn't give a fair enough gauge on what he is potentially able to achieve.

Until I see Dureau given a decent opportunity, I can't really give an opinion on whether he is good enough to be a first grade player.

It'll be an epic showdown as they both fight win a contract. Epic as Epic gets on a lazy sunday afternoon of beers and pizza.

We don't need extra garbage in my opinon. With a little gametime I think Scotty will be at least as good as Holsworth by early next season. I guess it is very unfair to judge Scotty as he wasnt given a go week in week out in his 7 shirt.

Thats right Yosh. We currently have garbage!!!

Even then i think he was significantly quicker, also had a lot more strength/size, better footwork, and an amazing sence of timing.

It's a shame he would then F*** it up with his last tackle option.:?

Personally i think Andrew Johns had pretty bloody good last tackle option's! Unless im missing something? or perhaps you thought i was talking about Rogers, in which case i would agree with you (however i would never of said those things about rogers).

Yet you still reply. Says more about you than me champ.

I'm just highlighting that we have made a crucial error in not recruiting a new halfback for 2010. We seem to be happy recruiting forwards - of which we have a plethora of - when what we don't have anywhere near enough of is halfbacks that can compliment Mullen, of which we have none.

Of course the Scotty Fan Club's opinion differs to mine, and that's fine. We participate in a forum which is all about expressing and debating opinions - of which Sneaky a response such as "F*** your boring" is not really debating (l'll leave your apparent inability to spell alone).

So...besides having a first grader waiving back to you in the car park on a consistent basis...what does Scotty actually add to the first grade squad?

(Hope that was a little more entertaining for you Sneaky)

My comment wasn't about your opinion, everyone has there own and i respect that. It was about the little one liner's that you (and karma when he was posting) love so much. I fail to see how "A competent one will do" adds to any sort of conversation. If you had have put your following post first i wouldn't have bothered posting.

As for your point out of the spelling error...:lol: at you

I'll cop the spelling error on the chin...I did the right thing and spell checked it prior to posting it - damn Microsoft Word didn't pick up the incorrect use of the word though...

But my honest assessment of our halves situation - even if it was 5 words - has triggered 4 pages of commentary during the off season. I think it added plenty to the forum!

One could also argue that the 4 pages is in reference to Sneak calling you out, and then you posting a constructive argument.....

Just thought I would add to the post count :)
