Dykes- Another person not to enjoy his footy under Brian

Its the same line over and over again, players are not enjoying playing at Parra.

The Article was about the Dickhead Dykes regreting signing with us and that he used to tape all cronulla games. I now put Dykes on the hate list as well as his commitment was lacking when playing for us u could see it. He felt that he he made a mistake leaving the sharks and he should've left our joint 3 years ago. PRICK!!!

But on the enjoyment factor Brian Smith has to Lighten Up or he will lose more players. Happy players will try harder for the team, they will give there all. Thats why Tonga and Ryan left because they could not handle the coach and his no happiness policy. Brian Smith hasa gone to Professinal in his mind and in the process we are losing some fine young talent. He needs to change his style or the way he deals with players for e.g

Naming them in the team and then Dropping them 5 mins before the game.

Playing favourites with such players like Burt and Wagon, Vella.

Thats the reason why Sharp is back its because he can deal with players on a personal level and knows how to speak to them. He may not be a great coach but he is a mans man.

Jake you make some good points but Dykes can go and f*ck himself. He was on huge money for us and in his own words his heart was not in it. So now he can live in "the Shire" (a term I cannot stand even though I live here myself) and be comfortable in the home that Parramatta helped pay off.

Where was this article? Sunday paper?

Dykes can get rooted....if $250K+ per year isn't enough to give a guy some motivation, then he can go screw himself....I have little doubt Dykes would have been hunted out of Cronulla by Chris Anderson had he stayed there, so he can thank his lucky stars he got a high paying position at Parramatta - even tho he put in little heart.

And I agree - coaches have gotta adjust a bit to the current cushiness of players - Smithy must lighten up a bit.....altho maybe his hard attitude is doing the club a favour by ridding us of the tossers who have no heart.

Is all the "Daniel Anderson to coach Parra" stuff over?....cos there's another coach who seems to be pretty hard nosed....if he's likely to come to Parra, then I don't have alot of hope for us retaining whingy players......Peter Sharp will have to work some miracles.

Dykes is soft cock Dickhead who never cared about Parra. Im glad he is gone but he did make some more points as well:

Parramatta is regimanted and structured.

At Cronulla I can play to MY NATURAL ABILITY and whats infront of me.

Yes Dykes has milked us for our money and he is a phoney but the same lines are coming out of all the Goods players that leave our club Such Ryan and Tonga.

I've always said Smith should just concentrate on the basics and give the boys a game plan but if they see something different or anoppurtunity in the game they have to go for it. I mean just imagine Sonny Bill was at Parra, Brian would've got a heart attack because of his offloads....... hang on we would've let Sonny go to a different club #-o #-o

Structure is good within the club but I believe the only reason why Sharp has been signed is because he can talk to the players and come down to their levels. Some players like the fact that they have a structured plan such as Hindy and Cayless and some dont like Tonga and Ryan. But I would have Hindy over both those. Smiths coaching style is something we all have to accept.

Why do wankers like Dykes change their tune AFTER they leave?

When he arrived he was praising Smith saying how he learnt so many new things.

When was he trlling the truth?

Stuff him, he's an arrogant turd anyway, always has been.

I hope he plays worse at Cronulla, can't wait for his excuse then.

Yeah - and I remember a Big League article on Dykes about a yr or so back - it was all about how Dykes was struggling to get over his injuries and the media were saying he was having a feud with Smithy...but Dykes said Smithy was his best supporter and parised him.....funny how that all changed - lies to start with or he's talking up crap now???

Its not so much what players say when they leave, its the amount of players that come and go so quickly that concerns me.

You would think so. He needed a job back in NZ, and he's now got one with New Zealand Sport & Recreation in a High Performance Directors role.

Quotes by Adam Dykes

League Week Season Review 2001

I needed a change and Parramatta is such a strong side - that's what appealed to me, I'd been at the Sharks for eight years and playing first grade since I was 18. I was getting a bit stale.

Big League 2002

I don't regret my move from the Sharks at all though. I wish i'd come here a couple of years ago actually but hopefully I can have an injury free off season and get back onto the field

Adam Dykes is a bullshit artist

I can't help feeling that he may be getting his own back after a certain incident at Leichhardt this year.

In any case I can't wait to see Moro and Hindy smash the the little cat next year. He'd want to be wearin shoulder pads for that one and prepare a manual for the medical staff who need to put him back together.

I want Dykes to be running across field when HINDMARSH luaunches one of his shoulders, similar to what he did to Sonny-bill this Morning.

Where was this article from? It's a disgrace that he plays a minimal amount of games, and poorly when he did, only to come back and say his heart was never in it even though he was on the big bucks. He's not worthy of the Parramatta jersey.
