It was in the Tele I beleive

It actually made me laugh when I read it just because it simply fitted in so well with rumours that were going around about Dykes.

Its typical though of Dykes to rave on with this sort of crap, trying to put his injuries and crap form down to his Parra move, just think if he had of stayed injury free and not played like a one legged man at times he could of been a much better buy

Alternate title for this thread:
Bartman - another fan not to enjoy his Parra with Dykes
Good riddance to our worst value buy ever

Thanks Iafeta for clearing up Daniel Anderson's immediate future.

In any case I can't wait to see Moro and Hindy smash the the little cat next year. He'd want to be wearin shoulder pads for that one and prepare a manual for the medical staff who need to put him back together.

He'll probably be out injured.....

Sorry Jake I would just like to put something forward to you.

Judas Said he wasn't enjoying his football at Parramatta and it was too intense

Willie Tonga was behind Judas, Vaealiki and Ash Graham for a stating Jumper. He was guaranteed one at the Dogs.

Andrew Ryan Left for more money, and now I think is hanging with the club to ensure he gets paid. I do believe though that he has taken a reduction in salary from what he signed on but I think that is still more than what he was on here at Parramatta, maybe to the value of a new 6 Cylinder Sports Ford or Holden.

Dykes was the source of the players aren’t happy under Smith line, and this article shows he wouldn't have been happier under any other coach in the NRL at Parramatta. He would have been happy in the shire with all his big footed mates even if Smithy was the coach.

It obvious that Smith's style works for some players not for others.

When his sides arent competing with the top 4, out come the stories of player discontent. When they are, out come the stories about how players love playing for him.

Dykes IS a boob. I can't help but think that while being intense and tough, Smith can't be such a boob, otherwise we wouldnt have been able to recruit so well and resign key players???

Where was this article from? It's a disgrace that he plays a minimal amount of games, and poorly when he did, only to come back and say his heart was never in it even though he was on the big bucks. He's not worthy of the Parramatta jersey.

OK.

I'll admit he was erratic and barely fit. But he played poorly?

How about against Brisbane in Round 2, or Newcastle in Newey? IMO he was probably the MOTM.

He was a classy player. It just didn't work out for him here.

But I am angered by his hypocrisy.[/b]

I think he'd have to be slowest 5/8 in the history of the game.

Possibly, but he was very classy.

He practically won us a few games this season with his skills.

In the end - Dykes is no longer at Parramatta. If he wanted to leave three years ago well they probably should have let him. It is a loss in that he is experienced however this is undermined by the fact that he hasn't wanted to be here - he has had his moments but then they were few and far between due to, in most cases, injury and poor team and individual performance.

I have doubts whether any coach other than John Lang or Stuart Raper would have been able to get more out of him than what we saw at Parramatta - IMO that comes down to attitude and not necessarily that of the coach or his staff.

Well said mate.

In the end, I think we're well-covered at 5/8 - Morris, Perenara, Green, Smith and even Marsh if need be. Not to mention Mateo (although I would LOVE to see him play 13).

Structure is good within the club but I believe the only reason why Sharp has been signed is because he can talk to the players and come down to their levels. Some players like the fact that they have a structured plan such as Hindy and Cayless and some dont like Tonga and Ryan. But I would have Hindy over both those. Smiths coaching style is something we all have to accept.

what an ill-informed and stupid assessment of the situation....if BS can't talk to his players, why should he be the coach???

does he need an interpreter???? what a joke of a post
