If we were honest with ourselves, anyone who has played a team sport knows this stuff goes on all the time. Not wanting to wipe it, but guys in the background doing stupid sh*t is nothing unusual,

As I said before, when Latrelle or anyone at Souffs interrupt a media session, or basically anyother team, it’s put down to good team spirit. This time Michelle Bishop probably called Hardley and it become something , with dead heads like Read and Ritchie joining it. They are not happy the club doesn’t give them a heads up these days and off they go with clickbait.

It’s about the standards you set. First time someone meowed months ago they should have had their wang cut off.
To what end? You’ve never been a goose at work? These guys and heaps of others throughout the leagues history have been the same and worse in front of media. Some of them are in the f**ken media now FFS. Ritchie all but admitted the story has been done to rile up responses like yours.

Someone’s made a stupid sound that under different circumstances would’ve been absolutely nothing, perhaps even good for team camaraderie. Because it wasn’t the right circumstances, Gutho has stepped in. Maybe some proactiveness or experience to keep mouth shut would’ve been nice, but from other reports this happens regularly anyway so we would’ve been changing team dynamic to suit media? f**k that.

Proactiveness is all well and nice but it happened regardless, so how should’ve it been dealt differently? NRL Integrity to me seems at least 3 steps advanced of what’s reported to have occurred seeing how Gutho seemed to have stopped it.

It’s just our turn in the rugby league soap opera.

What about the Mt Druitt lads from Penrith always mucking around like porkchops.

Ironically the idiot Paul Kent is the one of the few that has called them out on it.

Yet a POS like Bishop wax's lyrical about there behavior.

Only mistake they made was doing it this week.

There is already enough heat on the club as it was in hindsight they all should have laid low and not give the bottom feeders in the media any ammo.

As whenever they smell blood there is always a pile on.

There’s a time and a place. I think it was poor form. I hope Gutho ripped them a new arse.

Maybe but also that’s possibly changing attitude to suit a tangential situation.

Sentence A was dealt with with Sentence B:
I hope Gutho ripped them a new arse.
This should’ve been the end of it, like in any other organisation. Do you think you would’ve handled it differently?
The reason it wasn’t, isn’t because of anything the players did or club didn’t do.
There’s a rumour that NRL Integrity wasn’t even “informed of the incident”, that they were only contacting the club regarding Brown.

Not just sport. I have in-jokes with the people I work with that most people would listen to very confused.
Would we do it in front of news cameras? I don’t know but I’ve certainly said them at possibly inappropriate times.

I hear theres a n8ce pub in double bay

I was thinking more along the line of the local Razzle dazzle. A few bourbon an cokes and the bistro. When they play " Oh what a night (December 63 ) " is when I'll make my move.

I dare say the "meow's" were directed at Ms Rugba Leegue. Respect others and they will respect you. Another wannabe.

I've been talking about preventative measures which you acknowledged as important in an earlier post.

How did we even find ourselves in the position where we've had to be reactive?

Its really simple, merkin. You can keep defending the shitbag, meowing turds but they should have been rolled up in carpet and thrown off a bridge months ago. Along with you!

Not a big bridge, but a decent sized one.

You can’t just say a preventative measure should’ve been in place. Sometimes a bloke just be’s a dickhead so you need immediate correction (Gutho says STFU) and if necessary a larger correction. It didn’t really warrant narcing to the cops

Footballers play football, because they're athletic, and - let's be honest, here - too damn stupid to do anything else.

I think people crucify players but in general most a well behaved.
Guys in their early 20s who have a lot of money and women throwing themselves at them means there is always going to be the odd discretion. Just the way it is.
And average Joes love to be able to put others down just to feel a little better about their own life.

Plenty of dumb footy players but also plenty of dumb people in the world. Plenty of smart players as well who do good things. For some reason fans do not want to hear about all the good things these players do and are only interested when they f**k up and want to bag them.
