Only 4 weeks to go. How many of those games are winnable without him?

If I’m his manager, I’m giving him the following advice.

He can go two ways about this. But I hope he is privately stewing, sticking around every night doing extras and planning to set the comp alight when he returns and repay his teammates with actions.

7 weeks is like a whole preseason. Let’s hope he uses the next 4 weeks wisely. No more smiling for cameras at training high fiving the “bros”.

Own it, be the hardest working, most focussed player in the squad.

Every. Single. Moment.

4 more games?? f**k off Abdo!! It’s like the NRL haven’t f**ked our season enough.

......well we won all the games he was stood down for, so you know, if at first you don't succeed, try and try and try again.

I think the lesson to learn here is that parramatta players shouldn't be mixing with fine young women from the Eastern Suburbs.

Could have been worse and could have been better.

So just have to cop it on the chin.

I wonder if the club negotiated it down so he could return this year.

Personally reckon they should have pushed the NRL for an outcome where it was 5 match ban but 100k fine.

2 less games but a heavier fine.

5 weeks would still be a decent ban.

It’s alright our draw where we face everyone coming off a bye and don’t get byes prior to Origin in the one year where the f**kers finally decide to pick our players, apparently gets heaps more in our favour later when we face Scum in Scumland, Smug in Smugland, Boncos on the greenest Gabba pitch ever and so on. And we don’t get our free points until after the last regular season game.

You’d hope so. You’d really hope so but I question him personally. He’s let the fans and the team down.

7 weeks is fair enough,

Arsey has been playing pretty well so we just gotta get over the Warriors without Mitch, a big responsibility for Arsey this weekend

In the members email, the club seemed to have a stronger focus on the 5 days to consider and respond to the punishment. It’s out of character but I wouldn’t be surprised if we fight this one and try to bring it down to the 5 week mark including time served. Just a hunch.

Do you though ? See the conservative will say - why try and solve a problem that doesn't exist ?
Because it creates new problems. If you think you’re not also resistant to change you should reflect on your desperation to make the climate stay exactly as it is right at this moment, despite the cause of climate change being solutions to problems that demanded solving.

Social change and climate change are both downstream of technological changes intended to solve all these terrible injustices, from starving in winter to having to conceive babies during sex. As a rich person you no doubt see most social change as positive, because wealth allows you to exploit it to your benefit. But for most people, social change means arbitrary gains and losses.

If we fight it and lose, does he get more time?
