I would say if the hearing is after GF day we won't see Dylan again this year.Looks like it will play out like 2014 when Souths were short of centres and couldn’t afford to lose a player. Hearing will be knocked back to week after grand final day. Any suspension will be during preseason
This is most likely all Paul Kent’s fault for the horrible example he allegedly set
I’m just trying to get my head around the time it took to allegedly commit the 5 offences.^^^
Dylan Brown’s lawyer says CCTV does not support the allegation the Parramatta Eels star touched a woman’s breasts on five occasions at a Sydney eastern suburbs hotel.
Brown on Monday appeared in court for the first time after he was accused of touching a woman without her consent at the Golden Sheaf, in Double Bay, about 11.40pm Saturday.
NSW Police said officers arrested the 22-year-old and he was later taken to Waverley Police Station.
He was then charged with five counts of sexually touching another person without consent.
Brown was granted bail before he appeared at Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday.

Mr Brown was on Wednesday represented in court by solicitor David Newham and supported by Eels staff and his manager Gavin Orr.
Magistrate Theo Tsavdaridis agreed to adjourn the matter for three weeks.
“Mr Brown and I viewed the CCTV footage yesterday at the Bondi Police Station,” Mr Newham said outside court on Wednesday.
“It does not support the notion that on five separate occasions Mr Brown has approached this young woman and with both hands has touched both of her breasts. It does not support that at this point in time.”

The prosecution agreed to two variations of his bail, including having his reporting conditions reduced from three days a week to Monday only.
As well, his previous conditions stated he could not enter the Double Bay area. He had that amended so he was only precluded from licensed premises in Double Bay.
Mr Newham told the court he was hopeful of the matter being resolved when it returns to court later this month.
According to court documents, police allege Brown touched the woman’s breasts on five occasions from 11.19pm and 11.20pm on Saturday night.
Mr Brown, from Rose Bay, was not required to enter a plea on Wednesday.
Who cares? Why should we care? Regardless of guilt he’s put the game’s reputation at risk. When will these blokes ever learn that hanging around pubs at midnight when you are an overpaid footballer is full of harmful potential consequences? With the no fault policy, if it’s proven that the woman was full of shit, does he get reimbursed his match payment fee?
I don't think there is any such thing as match payments at NRL level, or certainly not for a player of Dylan Brown's status. With the no fault policy, if it’s proven that the woman was full of shit, does he get reimbursed his match payment fee?

NRL players are contracted salary, he isn't on match payments. With the no fault policy, if it’s proven that the woman was full of shit, does he get reimbursed his match payment fee?
