I thought we were very good tonight. A few too many errors but otherwise I was surprised at how good we were.

That last try just came from lazy cover on the inside and great support from the Manly players.

We'll f**ken belt Canberra next week.

Yeah he did but it was the right decision, just bad execution.

Manly had an overlap even if McGuire stayed out. As it turned out it still took a freak kick from the winger to beat us.

Morgan reminds of a Joel reddy type player.
How hard and aggressive were we. We went toe to toe in the forwards with the toughest bunch of wankers in the comp.
Atkins good under bomb but ordinary elsewhere.
Sometimes Burt leaving a bomb is a great result, but it's no freaking good for my heart

One thing Kearney is improving within the Eels is our mentality and ability to fight and grind!
IMO we will no lose by a big margin...it will be close like the manly game! Only thing that will get us over the line is there injury count and the fact they had a week off...we should be stronger next week after that hit out...

Saturday night footy just makes my whole week especially if the Eels put in a decent effort.

Yeah me too. Saturday and Monday are the only days I can watch games live.

That is unless you count Sunday. So really, it's only Friday games I can't watch live. Plus the Sunday free-to-air game.

When I think about it I don't really have that much to complain about.

Anyone would think we got lapped tonight, Manly are not the top side ATM for nothing. We did enough to win tonight, unfortunate not to get the points. Couldn't buy a penalty two calls cost us big time before half time and the pass from Cherry Lips looked forward. Plus Burt kicked 1 from 4.

It was a mile forward. Funny how things always even out.

Lucky the Titans, Dogs, Canberra and Bunnies are doing just as bad or worse with much better squads. We might avoid the spoon yet.

Last time it was over after 11 minutes. It was 22-0.......

We almost got killed driving down in bad rain......we got there late and seen the last 5 minutes of a NYC win, then we lost reggies and then NRL was terrible!!! You could drive trucks through the gaps in defence.......

Hopefully it is an all round better trip this time.......

Morgan isnt up to first grade yet-Id replace him with Rory brien who would do a better job IMO. Lassallo was quiet but deserves to stay there from past games.
Reni in for Webb.When Poore's back then maybe allgood or Lassalo will be looked at.
For me our biggest weakness at the moment is Atkins and Burt.There jsut not strong enough for first grade.When Burt races up took the quick tap and only made 2mtrs the thought his time is up crossed my mind for the first time in years.I think we need to sign 2 more backs.New wingers
