It was the bounce of the ball - not Hayne that cost us the game in the end.
Hayne was easily MOM - then Glen Stewart.

We are playing above our weight ATM. Comparing the two teams I think that the difference was that their extreme edges were far superior. Especially Judas and Wolfman. To a lesser extent Matai & Robinson, but they were better than either of our pairs.
Both our wingers are impotent and offer nothing but pop gun attack.
Special mention to Loko. He's stood up against Gaz & Judas and done us proud. TBH I'm a little disappointed that he's not that sharpo off the mark like the Gaz & Judas. Hope that he can find some zip over 15m.
Carl Webb impressed me in the past Wenty games I have seen on the box, but doesn't have the vigour (yet) for NRL. I think that Reni & Justin Poore's return might push Carl out of the game.
I haven't read through this thread so not sure if it's been mentioned but I reckon Hayne is lazy and cost us the match.

LOL. You forgot to mention that we miss Grothe's line speed, that Webb offers nothing, Morgan should be dropped and Reni should come into the side.I haven't read through this thread so not sure if it's been mentioned but I reckon Hayne is lazy and cost us the match.
And power mate. The outside backs lack the ability to beat a tackle; to force their way over the line; to force a roll on with momentum; and to get quick play the balls and set up a set of six.
It is killing us. We could have won all those games in the last month with proper first grade standard wingers.
Hayne should get none of the blame for that last try.
He wasn't out of position at all.
In fact, he was exactly where he was supposed to be - making sure Williams was covered in case he got through the line.
The kick was just a good one.
9 times out of 10 Williams would probably kick it dead, or to a Parra player, but tonight it just went where Manly needed it to go.
There probably should have been some cover for the kick on the inside from some other Parra players, but Hayne shouldn't have been one of them.
Not much harm comes from not looking, either.
It's called peripheral vision. Not many players have the talent. Not many other people know what it is.
It's an extraordinary gift...............and Hayne has the gift.
Suity
Very arsey kick!
Hayne was over covering the break (where he should be)
Moi Moi was the one 'slacking off' - he was the closest chaser and didn't sprint to the ball.
But would anyone ever seriously expect that of the big guy? Even if he sprinted he might not have got there.
Just unlucky that the kick somehow managed to stay in.
