Early tip: Sandow won't see out his contract

Maybe Kelly is more comfortable at halfback???

Surely we could find a way to keep Sandow at five-eighth and Kelly at halfback, though?

At the end of last year, I was confident that Kelly would play a vital role for us at 6 or even 7. But he looked lost early in the year and only stepped it up when Sandow got the punt.

I think a Sandow and Kelly halves combo is a solid one, and it offers more creativity.

I don't think Sandow has delivered enough to warrant his price tag but Kelly is not the solution. We either need to get more out of Sandow, pay him according to his performance (much less than 500k) or find someone better.

Well Peter Wallace has been told his services at the Broncos are no longer required.

BennyBoy, I like most of the posts you have made so far so to me, you are seeming like a good guy.

But please don't confuse value with price. The price we paid for Sandow was driven by the market at the time we made the purchase, not by the contribution he makes to the team.

For arguments sake, as a member of a 17 man squad, you could say he is only worth 1/17th of the total teams value and for most of this year he hasn't been the worst performing player (consistently) in our 17. So he is giving value.

Or is it better to argue that because he costs us 1/8th of our cap, he should be providing the value of at least 2 other players in our top 17? Extend this logic Jarryd Hayne who by all accounts is taking 1/5th of our current cap. Should he be providing the value of at least 3 players. Maybe we should just off-load both of them and get players who cost 1/17th of the cap.

I think there is an argument that when Hayne is on the field he is giving the value of 3 players.

No thanks, persist with Sandow behind a better pack next year if his not performing then maybe look elsewhere but be realistic people, it's Parramatta not the f**king Melbourne Storm, we need a quality dominating halfback not some average first grader. Kelly and Wallace both are average.

Sterlo says he'd stick with Kelly over Sandow in 2014.

That's good enough for me.

Outwide of your f**king Melbourne Storm's Cooper Cronk, name me the other quality dominating halfbacks? Now name me one that would leave his current Club to come here? Did Wallace and Norman not play 6 and 7 together in a Top 8 Broncos side. This is two things Wallace has that neither Sandow or Kelly have.

Is a dominating halfback what we really need either?

Is there anything else we're substantiating this on?

A few things for me:

1. Sandow hasn't had a great season.

2. Sandow was dropped to Wenty.

3. Sticky has a history of arseholing halfbacks.

Do I think it would be the the right decision? No, not unless we have a very solid Plan B.

Don't get your first question makes no sense...

Um anyone in there right mind would stay well clear of Parra even I would, hence why I said persist with Sandow until round 6 or so next year.

Yea they did, and guess what I rate Norman but never have and or will rate Wallace. I'll agree to disagree with you.

Our only plan B is Luke Kelly.

If sandow plays for wenty this week, it would be obvious RS is forcing him out of the club.

And Sandow is worse than average. I would much prefer Kelly.

Ricky Stuart may want Sandow to leave but what can be done? With the amount he is on we can't afford to force him out and no one would take him for that idiotic price and for good reason.

Keep playing him in reserve grade and hope he gets the shits and asks for a release.
