Well, considering how your team will be going on Friday night, Johnsy, no doubt we'll only need those 5 to outshine you.

I already had 6 songs about me, Jason. Ready to go and everything.

WTF?? You edited your song book?? Last time I looked it was almost to edition #2!!

I particularly liked the rework of "Am I ever gonna see your Face again" what did you call it?? "Are you ever gonna shave your Beard again" or something??

Well I'd be happy to purchase 5 season tix in an eastern bay. Thats a start. I know of at least 5 or 6 mates who are semi regular. Sometimes they cant make it due to work or other commitments. Maybe between the 40 and northern 20m line.

I had planned to just ask my mates for $15 each time they attended. I know it may seem like I'm making a profit or i'll just divide it by how many home games we have and ask them for that.

But we need to make them aware its The Blue and Gold army bay.

If we can get a start then the following year more would likely be involved.

Or maybe as a Blue and Gold army member your are also offered a chance to buy a season ticket in the bay or that this bay is held for Blue and Gold army members.

My son and I are Blue and Gold army members but tbh it doesn't really give you much.

An opportunity to buy a dedicated seat in the Blue and Gold Army Bay as a member would be much more attractive.

So we'd need the club to be involved.

just to start the ball rolling pick any stand and tell everyone to buy their tickets early and sit there i dont think too many people buy tickets as soon as they go on sale apart from special occasions you might still get the odd straggler in there though

if someone connected with the club could work out a section without many season ticket holders it would help

hey guys, my name is Peter. My self and a guy known as Stel (ourredv) are the owners of the ourredv.com website. I just want to say, good stuff in wanting to start an eels army. I think its awesome for our game and it also brings many people together. the best thing about it is, the team appreciate all the banners, songs and flags etc. It also brings more people through the gates and creates a friendly rivalry between the fans.

Stel and I really enjoy organising bus trips and bbq's etc. But the most important thing from our point of view is that we are not the leaders and dont have a leader. When you appoint someone who wants to tell people what they can and cant do and say thats when the whole thing goes belly up.

This season has seen many more poeple getting involved, from the guys who were in the army in the 90's to the new young kids who bring creativity through their flags and banners. We all stand really close together and sing and chant as loud as we can. You can say, we have all become a really close knit band of brothers. Everyone in the army know everyone.

Anyway, I just want to say, good stuff and good luck. If its done by the people and for the people then it will be successful.

Fire up and see you on the hill on friday night.

Thanks Cooper Man..your thoughts and words are certainly more appreciated than some of your fellow supporters comments who just came in to act like trolls and rubbish.

I for one appreciate that you can see the bigger picture :thumn

Peter I must say even as a die-hard Eels fan I have always been kinda jealous at the fact you guys can have such a large group of fans constantly and I do love some of your banners

I'm also the first to admit to part of the old group of Eels fans who used to sit on the hill I always wanted to join you. Having been part of a few big days [SCG against Manly and the Tiges game at the SFS] it is an awesome feeling and I love the atmosphere it creates and even the boys said after the Tiges game they loved it they loved the banners and it really spurred them on.

I wish they could bring back the old hill because if they did I'd say we all sit there but with the advertising boards and seats and so on I will say I will stay away if we move to the Northern Terrace [until they get rid of the boards] and it also wouldn't work in attracting fans.
I agree with the Eastern Terrace I have sat in Bay 64 for about 9 years now and I love it!! Only pain is Sunday games when the sun is in your eyes and your arm hurts after blocking it out for so long

But I am up for this! Count me in whatever.. Most people know how loud I can be so you know I'll be making some noise :D
