As Peter has said there are guys who organise bus trips etc and do it very well. This years trip to Canberra is a testament to the work Stel and Peter put in and it was a great day (besides the result lol).

However i get the feeling maybe you guys are over complicating things just a little bit. It may start with 10 of you but as you become more popular and more people join you will soon have a big army. I have only been standing with the Dragons army since last year only because i wanted to be near them because i thought they were great. This year i now have three banners of my own and sit with them at every WIN stadium game and many sydney games.

And LU is a good place for information. I find out where we sit for all the games just by coming on this site and looking in the appropriate thread. Only thing making it harder for you guys is the fact that you guys dont have a hill so organising seating at Parramatta is more difficult. Anyways i hope you guys are successful because i love the banter with the Dogs Army especially and it would be great to have more armies.

I heard what happened on that trip.. No offence but I :lol:ed

Good point. From just looking at my bay, it's on the 30m line close to the big screen, not many season ticket holders as I am always surrounded by opposition fans.. plus we have the crazy lady who just LOVES Tahu.. she always makes me laugh and comes down from the CC every home game.
But that's my bay.. I know Bays 65, 66 and 67 have a lot of Season Ticket Holders. 66 is directly across from the tunnel.

Sorry to all the females out there. I didnt mean it to sound that way. I guess the die hardness comes from the males in the group, and dont get me wrong, they all bring their wifes, girlfriends and sisters with them etc, BUT i guess they just arent as emotional as we are. I tell you what though, they still come to games and carry banners and flags. Heaps of them rock up even when their boyfriends dont sometimes.

Creating a website for as little as 20 bucks a month is a good idea to, it gives people somewhere to view pics and stuff. It creates the interest also.

First things first guys. A few clever banners which are cheap to make and a few songs about how great the Eels are as well as a few to rip into the opposition.

Some very positive contributions in this thread. I'm a Network Engineer & Part-Time Web developer. I'd gladly do the website for free and take care of hosting. I really wish we could put all our ideas together and get something going. We have an awesome bunch of people on this forum and im sure we could work something out if we really wanted to.

Well why don't we make a website to register interest first of all?

I mean have a simple website explaining an aim etc and a form to show how many games people are likely to attend, age group, whether they are willing to sing and all.

Then if the stats are good enough we can pass them onto the club.

You know what they say - if you want something done then do it yourself.

www.blueandgoldarmy.com is now registered

We have had websites before,

It is great to have, but we will need to start working on where to sit information for away games quickly. The Draw will be released in a few weeks, do people want to start suggesting away game information.

I always liked the idea at Shark park of the seated area that has a Hill behind it between the goal and 20 metre lines. Thoughts.

I don't think we need to have that figured out perfectly just yet. I mean, apart from Round 1 of the finals we won't have an away game until March next year so there's plenty of time.

First priority should be liaising with the Club in relation to the home bay. If we want it for next year then we're gonna have to get it approved very soon so STHs can be informed and make adequate alternative arrangements.

I really think we should have a meet up day @ Sterlo's or somewhere convenient... it would be so much more productive.

I dont think they will have enough time before the renewals are due for STH's. I am sure they are due in November!

so how would they manage to arrange a whole bay ... surely there are existing season tickets that would have to be displaced to get a whole bay
