Would be happy with Hughes. Nolan will be hard to replace, they made a very good choice there.
Plus after playing outside Andrew Johns in Newcastle for all those years he could probably teach our halfbacks a thing or two.
...ummm I thought it was the other Mark Hughes.
The manager of Stoke City?!? Why would we trust him to run our recruitment and teach our halfbacks to organise? He's probably never even met Andrew Johns.
I don't think so because there was a stack of them in the bakery meaning I got a free read while I scoffed down a pie, sausage roll and a thick shake.
He tells the f**kheads how, when & where to apply their skills. Because as skilful as a f**khead can be, they still need to be told to do their jobSo what exactly does Daniel Anderson do?
I'd say the new guy will have a watered down version of Nolan's role though, with many of Nolan's responsibilities rolled into the GM Football job. Otherwise without any responsibility for recruitment/retention, what the f**k does a GM Football even do? Booking Parra pool for recovery sessions is hardly a fulltime job.
I'd say Wilson will just be head of junior recruitment, answering to Anderson.
or perhaps there aint gonna be another new guy
I have been a General Manager of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service before.
But I dont remember writing all the ads, closing every sale and answering every customer phone call. I did have responsibility for them though. Probably the same as how Nolan reported to Anderson as will his successor.
Might be worth understanding organisational structures before commenting sometimes.
