His answer was to take the team for a drinking bonding session and stay away from home last week.
Not fine tune our defensive line, not teach dufty to catch a high ball, not get some new and creative attacking moves happening, not discussing strategies......not analysing what they needed to do differently to turn it around.....but to take the boys away for drinks and bonding all week.

He thinks the booze wiill fix the problem.

Yeah but the booze helps his problem. Forgets what happened last week. He can only remember the early season form, short term memory is shot. Come Xmas time he will be wondering how it all went so wrong. Oh well bottoms up!!

There's some truth in that, but I don't think it's the whole story. They showed in the second game against Melbourne and against the cowboys they can create chances. Yes our team doesn't adjust or at least doesn't adjust very often. Put that down to on-field leadership of which there isn't very much.

I also wonder whether players like JDB and Sims now that they have played for the State side don't feel the need to try as hard. And players like McInnes and Aitken who missed out on Origin don't feel they need to try as hard.

Hope the wedding was awesome. The footy was shit.

Can't remember I think it was Simms ( maybe JDB) but I remember one of them absolutely smashed him after he kicked the ball & I thought there is no love lost there.

Sitting here reflecting on last nights piss poor effort by our team and still cant believe the way our season has disintegrated .... I cant stand our coach and have never been happy like most with his appointment....but him aside theirs got to be more behind the scenes than shithouse coaching....no one can convince me that a team that a few weeks ago was leading the comp can be absolutely flogged 40 to 4 by a team coming 16th...I dont give a fig what the penalty count was who was sin binned or who was injured, for a team to concede 40 points and score a miserly 4 with finals just upon us is totally inconceivable

Sorry and further to my post it pisses me off no end when I see teams like Penrith get out of jail 2 weeks in a row and just watching Cronulla whom we beat twice this year beating The Storm in Melbourne....for mine we havnt just crashed someone has cut our break lines
