I am sick and tired of our 20s being chopped around. We have good side and I think we should let them play as a unit for the rest of the year. If we do that we may find that we may win something and that would give great confidence to the whole club. On Matterson I have watched him in the 2 home games, he has been a standout and the thing I really like is the time hecseems to have to pass the ball. Against thw Warriors we were leading easily until he was hurt and had to get attention, the Warriors came at us and got close. Matterson came back on and we shot away from them. In my view he is a must keep for the future.
The two teams from last year's grand-final chopped their teams around a fair bit during the season. Bryce Cartwright moved up to NSW cup a few times, James Roberts played a few games in first grade. Siliva Havili, David Bhana, James Taylor, Albert Vete all played NSW cup last year.
You have to promote the best of the best for a few games just to keep them interested and show them what they have to work on when they eventually move back to NYC. This year we've got a few young players in the SG Ball team that wouldn't look out of place in the Under 20's, what we've also got is a few top-notch players in the NYC who wouldn't look out of place in NSW cup, luckily for us the players that are standing out in NYC are in the same position as the ones in SG Ball.
