Yep... Dargan is a chance to play NYC after the sg ball which will finish in about 3 weeks, I think this is matto's last year at NYC so it wouldn't be a bad idea groom him at Wenty soon..

Speaking of matto, I hear Melbourne are sniffing for him..

Do you think we could groom Matterson as a lock? He's got the size of a modern day forward, the ball-playing skills to offer a Joseph Paulo type role, he's got the defensive aspect in-tact.

It is a great crop of 20s we have running around this year. Plenty of first grade prospects across the roster.

Josh definitely has been a stand-out and his work ethic is top-rate. He along with Moeroa have made our NYC defensive line one of the strongest the Under 20's has seen and he could be a future lock in first grade.

I am sick and tired of our 20s being chopped around. We have good side and I think we should let them play as a unit for the rest of the year. If we do that we may find that we may win something and that would give great confidence to the whole club. On Matterson I have watched him in the 2 home games, he has been a standout and the thing I really like is the time hecseems to have to pass the ball. Against thw Warriors we were leading easily until he was hurt and had to get attention, the Warriors came at us and got close. Matterson came back on and we shot away from them. In my view he is a must keep for the future.

Aloiai is still eligible for NYC next year. Also, what's with all the strapping around his knees? It doesn't look healthy, especially for a kid who is not even 19 yet.

The two teams from last year's grand-final chopped their teams around a fair bit during the season. Bryce Cartwright moved up to NSW cup a few times, James Roberts played a few games in first grade. Siliva Havili, David Bhana, James Taylor, Albert Vete all played NSW cup last year.

You have to promote the best of the best for a few games just to keep them interested and show them what they have to work on when they eventually move back to NYC. This year we've got a few young players in the SG Ball team that wouldn't look out of place in the Under 20's, what we've also got is a few top-notch players in the NYC who wouldn't look out of place in NSW cup, luckily for us the players that are standing out in NYC are in the same position as the ones in SG Ball. Nathan Davis- Tui Oloapu, Tepai Moeroa- Tyrell Fuimaono, Ryan Matterson- Troy Dargan

In the comp down my way, the group administrators have a rule that clubs are not allowed to strap players up to under 16's

They were before they broke up. Now Sting and Stewart Copeland are focused on the welfare of junior players in country rugby league.

Are they the same group as "The Strappers" running amok down the south coast, notorious for strapping girls, women, wives, animals and then having sex with them???

Not such a friendly ghost though, is Strapper. Despite the smiley face he drew on his ghost sheet.
