A couple of squad members missing (e.g. Tepai Meoroa) plus none of the NYC eligible players listed as being part of the fulltime squad (Dockar-Clay, Folau, Manuleleua, Pauli, Pritchard, Tanginoa). Goodall and Brady are both in this photo, as is at least one guy I don't recognise (that mop-haired Polynesian bloke next to Makelim).

NYC squad:

Aloiai (turns 19)
Anderson (turns 19)
Aukofolau (turns 19)
Baissari
Brady
Bush (turns 19)
Daoud
Davis (turns 19)
Edwards (turns 19)
Francis (turns 18)
Fuimaono (turns 18)
Goodall
Grant
Green
Hafoka (turns 19)
Izzard (turns 19)
Kamikamica
Kaufusi (turns 19)
Latham
Lavaka
Lussick (turns 19)
Makelim
Markus (turns 19)
Matterson
Mauala
Moeroa (turns 19)
Muna (turns 19)
Newbigging
Pua (turns 19)
Roe (turns 19)
Suli (turns 19)
Tagilima
Tepu-Smith (turns 19)
Vidal (turns 18)
Windeatt

Eligible but with the fulltime squad:

Dockar-Clay (turns 19)
Folau
Manuleleua
Pauli
Pritchard
Tanginoa

seriously look at the size of Kamikamica on the far right

Francis (turns 18)
Fuimaono (turns 18)
Vidal (turns 18)

All very talented young footballers still eligible for SG Ball. I reckon Wayne Francis might be the standout.

And you should be happy to see only one of them is black. Pity none of the three are Anglos, but there are plenty in the squad.

He is a big bloke, but that lens distorts things so that the edges are stretched relative to the centre of the image.

The biggest (heaviest) bloke in the squad is right at the back between Vidal and Fuimaono.

Wrong again - Jason Vidal is a stringbean 5/8. Tyrell would be a way from the heaviest; Wayne Francis would have a good 7kgs on him.

What is the word, that's it - dumbarse.;-)

"Wrong again"? Implying I was wrong a first time?

The heaviest bloke in the squad is Paea Pua, who is at the back between Vidal and Fuimaono. Like I said, you f**king idiot.

You've had a shocker, haven't you?

Jason Vidal was around 70kgs as a 5/8 in the HM side of 2012. So unless he has had an amazing growth spurt, I doubt your claim.

Maybe, you are thinking of Alex Twal (??) - another talented front rower from the HMs of 2012.

Don't believe the stats put out by the clubs or foxsports as they have Ben Barba at 95kgs.

I'm not talking about Jason Vidal; I'm talking about the bloke next to him, with his head over Vidal's shoulder. In the photo I posted.

And Vidal is a lot bigger than he was in Harold Matthews. Official site has him at 187cm/94kg which looks about right from the training photos. If he wasn't big enough for NYC he would still be in the SG Ball squad.

I remember seeing an interview when he was the captain of the Harold Matts side. Since then he's grown into his eyebrows, that's for sure.

I get it now; sorry dude; I'm the dumbarse (needed to re-read your original post again and again, but it finally clicked what you meant).;-)

Still reckon, 187cm (6' 2") and 94kgs (approx 15 stone) is a fair bit out there. But that is the crap stats clubs put out.

There are some photos on the other site that show Jason Vidal compared to a few of the first graders. He mightn't be 94kg but he's definitely at least 90kg. And 187cm seems spot on.

Hey pou the player you were asking about with the mop hair is Brendan Raeili. He has played HM and SG for parra in the front row mainly. He is a likeable player and has very good speed/footwork for a forward. There are a couple of talented players in this squad as you all probably already know but I would keep my eye on Roe, Izzard, Pua, Kafusi and Hafoka. These players my brother has played with or against on a weekly basis and are a joy to watch for any Rugby League purists

One name suprisingly that was not in the squad was John Fomai. He is a absolute gun. Can anybody shed some light on his absence from the squad?
