We are watching different games. You watch through blue and gold glasses. I watch the top sides and see what they do significantly better than what we do and see areas we need to improve.

He's a half back. Not a forward or outside back. He's job is not to run 10 metres and get tackled easily on every run. That's the entire point of what I'm trying to say. He runs too much... I would imagine if every half in the NRL ran as much as he does they would make as many metres. It's a bullshit useless stat for a half if all they're going to do is waste a play.

You're someone who is always going to look at a stat and turn it into a positive argument, because you think that Parra players are all great. But if they we're all so great because of individual stats, then why aren't we sitting were Melbourne are on the ladder?

It's the deficiancies in what players don't do that is the reason why were not higher up the ladder, not the everyday day decent numbers on a stats sheet. Until we rectify the deficiancies that don't appear on the NRL stats sheet then Drown and the rest of the squad won't be replacing Melbourne at the top of the ladder anytime soon.

Having said all that, I have little concern on Drowns potential and his future. But the jury is still out on whether he can achieve what his potential has shown.

What the f**k has Browns stats got to do with us sitting above the storm? You have lost the plot I think!!

I wasn’t even discussing how much better that the storm are then us!!

FFS You said Drown hasn’t shown much!!

So I was simply showing / pointing out (with stats to support it), that’s Drown game isn’t limited / or that he has shown more then you have suggested!!

Anyhow ever thought the reason he was running so much against manly was, while manly had a prop on the edge targeting him in defence, he was instructed to run the ball more to test the defence out.

And it was successful!! He had 4TB with 130 metres!!

Additionally watch the replay!! Sivo scored 3 tries and Drown played a major role in each one!! Did you see that??????

Really, go and watch it and tell me what wouId happen if Drown didn’t make the right call in each of Sivo’s 3 tries???

Just on doing things professionally. This is not intended to be critical.
Im also aware Parra did defeat Manly last Friday.
Did anybody notice the on field warm ups of both Manly and Parra last Friday night?
Manly separated into groups running through organised routines. Looked very good.
Eels were like Browns Cows. Rolling around on the ground, some participating some not. Ball boys kicking and passing to players. Kidwell wandering oround continually tucking his shirt in.
I know its mattered little in the end but gee Manly looked impressive.

f**k can’t believe we lost the warm up!! I agree sack that f**ken pelican BA!! f**ken useless clown!!

Id rather win the game personally.
Didnt BA just re sign for two more years? Cant see that being an option.
I thought Manlys warm up was impressive. You obviously disagree. No harm, no foul.

Rissoling Norman has been one of the most forward thinking moves our club has made in a long time. And that’s despite him making his Origin debut this year too.

Mate it could have gone the other way with Moses gone and Norman staying put. More luck then great management, We are lucky that the Dragons saw more value in Normy then Mitch.

We and the coach are doubly lucky that Moses has actually taken it upon himself to focus like a professional for the first time in his career and train and play the way it is expected of him at this level. Notice how he was getting quite a few wraps these last few weeks and his form in almost all categories had dipped somewhat until the Manly game. So we aren't out of the woods with him yet. He needs to be able to rise above all the back slappers and not let it take anything away from his game.

The best all do. We need to get him and D. Brown a halves mentor. Fitler or M. Johns would be ideal.

Yeah possibly it was good luck but regardless, it’s been a great move. Mitch has his best footy ahead of him and Normy doesn’t. I know who’s more likely to be a clown off the field as well. Agree about a mentor.

Norman’s off field shenanigans is what derailed many campaigns for us. He is a f**king peanut and it is not simply coincidence that Saints have gone shit with him and QLD and the series loss.

It was an absolute master stroke that he left and Moses was ALWAYS the better long term half because if we had half a brain we would have sacked Corey years ago.

I’d avoid the ape like the plague and Fittler probably has too much on plate. Why not simplify it and go for one of those other former rep halves who also have coaching experience? Toovey or Barrett

He was leading the Dally M voting when he was banned (before we re-signed him), and we stupidly believed he would learn from getting caught being a massive dickhead. He was a gun and we had no halves signed for 2017. There was f**k all players left on the market by the time the dust had settled from the salary cap investigation. We were out of options.

If Norman had the right attitude he’d be a superstar. Unfortunately, he’s as a dumb as a rock and incapable of learning from his mistakes.

Fair enough, Pou. However he has been a dickhead for a while and we may have targeted someone earlier like Maloney before he went to Penrith.

BA has recently only started to adopt a true no dickhead policy and I think it came about with the appointment of our new recruitment manager. Kenny Edwards is another example. Good player but atomic f**kwit.

Jarryd Hayne also. Could have been an immortal. Then again Mal Meninga and Joey are.

Arthur does seem to have a high tolerance for dickheads. But then Norman and Edwards were two of my favourite players as well. Glad they're gone but.

Interestingly, the “dick heads” were moved on when we finally had some young players to replace them, Drown for Norman, Niukore for Edwards.......

Edwards was moved on and BA told Norman he was free to leave, all well before O’Neil started.
