Lane is a very lazy and overrated merkin there’s a reason why he’s had short stints at clubs.

From memory he was the player a few years ago that thought he deserved more coin and threatened to jump ship if we didn’t give him what he or his manager thought he was worth.

I don't know if its because he's in a bad situation but it seems lile Cartwright just wants to go out there and go crazy hard.

He was the super sub earlier in the year but maybe he did something stupid to upset BA.

He definitely deserves more minutes.

Mahoney would also be on significant unders.

I see no less than six clubs putting out EOI’s for his services. Negotiations to secure him could make or break our mid 2020’s. Losing him or paying 650k + like some clubs will offer could be very problematic.

Brisbane and the Gold Coast are close to home. The Bulldogs are his junior club. The Roosters are.. well… the Roosters. The Dragons also may have decent coin. Manly could come into the fold but I doubt they would have the cap space.

His family are Parra supporters and he loves the club. You take any small win you can in contract negotiations.

In the photograph, one of the general duties cops has a ballistic vest on under the operational one.

This indicates the presence of firearms when tasked to attend. I’d say Mr Opacic and/or the others involved aren’t angels.

Mr Opacic, 28, was declared dead at the scene after he came off his motorbike about 3 kilometres south of Numinbah Correctional Centre.

A 29-year-old man from Narangba, who surrendered at the Laidley police station about 2am on Saturday, has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, failure to comply with a requirement to stop a private vehicle, and the driving of motor vehicle without a driver’s licence, disqualified by court order.

He was refused police bail and was due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.

A 28-year-old Mitchelton man was also being interviewed by police after he was arrested on the Sunshine Coast late on Saturday afternoon.

Late on Sunday, both men were charged with murder.
Police will allege the two men were in a vehicle when, for circumstances still under investigation, Mr Opacic crashed.

Police said they believed Mr Opacic was involved in an argument with several men outside the prison a few minutes before the crash.

In our favour is we now have an environment he would want to be at, unlike in the past where we needed to pay overs to retain our own players.

He spent like 6 months at the dogs before they let him go to sign Joey Tramontana from us

Rheed is a must keep. I would lose every other player maybe bar Gutho over losing Rheed. The Dogs should be ashamed of themselves.
Rheed is gonna be pushing shit uphill playing a 13 a side game all on his own .... but yes, he is that good - he will probably still beat the bulldogs
