Maybe Gus is Pou??? It’s starting to make sense, and his hatred of that great team and era.I think Gus should have less conversations
That’s your fallback whenever you know I’m right. And you will get in another 69er with Pou.
You’re not right not this time. Pou will always go against popular opinion andThat’s your fallback whenever you know I’m right.
And Wally .... you wallyKenny dominates for a decade and did everything in the game. Was never labelled overrated and even Wally Lewis said he was the best in his era. The fact that the 80’s era only has one immortal who is a questionable one at that (Meninga) demonstrates the disrespect that the game has for players of that era.
He didn’t dominate in the premier competition at the time. He dominated in the second tier and 3 state games a year. Even when he played for Australia, Kenny took his position at 6. 1982 Kangaroo tour from memory. They went with Mortimer and Lewis and eventually were replaced by Sterling and Kenny. And Wally .... you wally
Be careful what you are arguing here. I very clearly said that Fittler will be an immortal before Kenny. Nothing more, nothing less. You’re not right not this time. Pou will always go against popular opinion and
that’s his prerogative. It doesn’t mean it’s right. To suggest Fittler is better than Brett Kenny is a nonsense. He wasn’t. Kenny was a genius. At his height Hayne was better than f**king Fittler.
Maybe you should just answer the question and not fluff about.Be careful what you are arguing here. I very clearly said that Fittler will be an immortal before Kenny. Nothing more, nothing less.
I stand by that even though I don’t think either of them will be any time soon.
My reasoning:
Longevity
Origin record
International record
Leadership role
I totally get the argument that Kenny was more skilful. I’d even agree that at his peak he could do things on the field that Fittler couldn’t. That doesn’t make him a better choice for immortal status though.
Otherwise, the current list of immortals would look very different.
I am right on this one. You just didn’t understand what I was saying.
Lol you are right on this one?? Anyone who captained the side to get best by Fatties Nuffies is automatically out of the equation.Be careful what you are arguing here. I very clearly said that Fittler will be an immortal before Kenny. Nothing more, nothing less.

He’s getting more and more like Pou in every post.Maybe you should just answer the question and not fluff about.
Kenny or Fittler? Who’s the better player?
Fittler also has him on coaching.Lol you are right on this one?? Anyone who captained the side to get best by Fatties Nuffies is automatically out of the equation.
He had to play second fiddle to Daley throughout most of the 90’s and without Johns in 01 got beat by 80 year old Alfie lol.
He has him on longevity and arguably leadership even though Bert only got to captain a shit Eels team late in his career. Bert also played in arguably the greatest Kangaroos squad ever assembled. Fittler after he left the Riff was pretty average for the Roosters for quite a few seasons until Gus could put a stacked team around him and then it was only one GF win in a year stained by the Dogs disqualification.
If that was your question try asking it next time you peanut!Maybe you should just answer the question and not fluff about.
Kenny or Fittler? Who’s the better player?
What’s coaching got to do with anything??Fittler also has him on coaching.
Who cares though. Price should be selected before both of them.
