Fittler had years where he played like Dogshit in a strong team. He was voted by his peers as the most overrated players in the game one year. Yeah real immortal type stuff. He was a great player but not even close to immortal status. But of course he’s better than our former greats hey Pou who weren’t much chop……. He could only win one comp with that stacked Roosters side of the late 90’s and 2000’s and that was only after the Dogs got bundled out. No doubt he’s a great but was he any better than Laurie Daley??? Both greats but not immortals.

Smith should be the only immortal from his era, maybe Thurston but that should be it.
