We didn’t and last season would have been a huge disaster if we didn’t beat the Storm and were so competitive against the Panthers. Those two games likely saved Brad Arthur’s job.We didn’t though did we?

Well now I don't know who or what I am.... Just call me Caitlyn Jenner I guess....I don’t think anyone is using it as an excuse. That’s incorrect, incorrect.
Rest of your post is correct though.
Might’ve been JoeyJoey johns said someone was very stubborn at parra
Was it gutho or ba?
Newcastles A is looking better than last year at this stage. Maybe Johns isnt such a dud consultant. Did BA choose Johns or was it a MON appointment? That said MON has talked up BA this off season. Not sure Ive heard that prior.Joey johns said someone was very stubborn at parra

So those two efforts have probably set the club back a couple of years. We didn’t and last season would have been a huge disaster if we didn’t beat the Storm and were so competitive against the Panthers. Those two games likely saved Brad Arthur’s job.
I feel like the Joey consultancy was thrust upon BA, but I could be wrong. From what I've heard in the past, BA is very combative and wary of outside influences/influencer's....Newcastles A is looking better than last year at this stage. Or anyone with a clue.I feel like the Joey consultancy was thrust upon BA, but I could be wrong. From what I've heard in the past, BA is very combative and wary of outside influences/influencer's....
How do you expect to get a better coach than Bellamy? We need to be the club with the "better" coach in that metric....
We can't keep having stats excusing repeated failures where the coach and board say, "well your honour, we did great to get where we went, but eventually we were always going to have play someone better so where finished was more or less expected"....
The 2005 Tigers should have f**ked off after week 1 in that scenario....
We had all the easy teams first. We all knew it too. We were lucky we got the Storm on an off day. March premiers ffsEasily, especially with the start we had. 9 from 10.
Always so negative, FFS!!We had all the easy teams first. We all knew it too. We were lucky we got the Storm on an off day. March premiers ffs
Or do you just need better players or more luck? There's plenty of examples of clubs changing coach and not improving. Look at us after 2010, the Dogs after Hasler, Brisbane after Bennet, there's plenty more. It’s not good enough to just say we made the finals and that’s enough. Eventually you reach a point where the coach has to take you to the next level or you need a change.
I'm positive about the future. This is our year, with a bit of luck.Always so negative, FFS!!
Our year for what? Week 3??? That would be very exciting!!I'm positive about the future. This is our year, with a bit of luck.
I dunno...get his Dad?!How do you expect to get a better coach than Bellamy?
Agree mate. I think it covered up an otherwise very poor effort for the second half of the season. We didn’t and last season would have been a huge disaster if we didn’t beat the Storm and were so competitive against the Panthers. Those two games likely saved Brad Arthur’s job.
We might lose in week two again but we might win the comp as well. It's very excitement. Our year for what? Week 3??? That would be very exciting!!
Bellamy coached teams have only ever managed to beat a team above them on the ladder once in finals since 2014. Three losses in that same period.
Before some deadshit chimes in, I have just provided data. The data shouldn’t be used to compare Bellamy and BA. Clearly Bellamy is a better coach.
What it could suggest though is that it isn’t easy to beat teams above you in the finals. The fact that the best in the game hasn’t done it often speaks volumes.
Ultimately BA needs to get us to finish higher on the ladder if we want to be a threat. Teams that finish 4th or 5th do so for a reason and expecting them to win premierships is a fool’s paradise. Sure it happens, but not often.

You didn’t write your first sentence properly. If you did it could have been an absolute zinger.Makes all the morons that say losing in round 2 or 3 sound even sillier doesn't it? All games count if you want to finish in the top 2. Gives you the best chance of winning the GF. Like I said all games freakin count and losing some of the early rounds does mean you probably wont win the title.
Since when has context been important? In what context?
