I wouldn't, but surely the club has more important things to worry about than poor Jakey getting boo'd???? If he's picked again he will probably cop it twice as much now. We all know why he is getting boo'd and the cause i'm not condoning it but people are fed up. The whole team deserved to be boo'd Thursday night. Especially the coach.

But the point she made about "they're too gutless to confront Jake in person" is rather childish, imo.

I'm not disagreeing.

But this notion that they're gutless because they boo him is just so naive.

I don't condone it, and I'd never do it myself (as I mentioned in another thread, I'll just let the club know how I feel about their unacceptable performances with my wallet), but in what scenario would the booers have a chance to boo Jake in person - especially in light of the abuse he has copped on social media for some time now?

The point she was trying to make was just so childish in its naivete, that it almost ruined the point she was making.

He was the one dribbling all pre season he was a must selection. Just because you run your own website doesn’t mean you have a clue about football. He should run for the CEO’s job next he’s about as qualified as the gimp in there now.

Yeah I reckon they would have booed Jrthur to his face. Wouldn’t have said shit directly to BA though, the real target of their booing. Or to Gutherson, or Moses, or RCG, or The Handbrake.

I get disagreeing with his selection, but it’s not like he’s been monumentally bad, there’s just been controversy around why he’s been selected. He has no say in that. What footballer is going to say “Nah don’t pick me in 1st grade”? The answer is they could say that but then they won’t be picked. Ever.

It's more a social comment on society and how the anonymity of internet emboldens people and some people say things that they would not normally say face to face, simply because they are rarely held to account. The booing in the crowd is the same to a certain extent, however I expect that anyone who does that on Friday night will be held to account by those around them and quickly told to STFU. As @Phil Mann Stand said ^^^, I have never witnessed the boing of a kid from our own club like that. Lower than low.
