Davis when fit is one of the best players in the NBA, Westbrook is a slalom skiing merkin though. Pippen was hardly the superstar he became when he first landed at Chicago. His first few years he was soft and averaged about 7 points per game. The amount of people who believe that Pippen rocked up and all of a sudden he helped lift the Bulls into an automatic powerhouse is laughable.

My favourite Lebron moment was when he was shut down by the mighty 5 foot 10 JJ Barea in the 2011 finals lol. Dirk Nowitski and an aging Dallas roster beat him in 6. For that reason alone he can never be considered the GOAT.

If LBJ found a wingman as good as Pippen he would undoubtedly have more rings. If MJ didn't have Pippen he'd undoubtedly have less rings. Given the difference is 4 v 6 I think that speaks volumes of Pippen's importance.

Well the merkin has gone to enough teams to find one lol. Peak Wade was awesome and same as Irving. How did Pippen fair without Jordan??? He did pretty average TBF.

He didn't find one though which is the point. Wade and Irving didnt have the sustained excellence of Pippen.

Pippen was the perfect 2IC and luckily Jordan is smart enough to give him the credit he deserves. Whether Pippen can perform without Jordan is irrelevant as we are talking about supporting players to LeGoat and MJ.
